Biden Poll Numbers Now Lower Than the Biden Household Age of Consent

Poll:A large majority of Americans reject Bidenomics.

A super-majority of voters have negative views of the U.S. economy and disapprove of President Biden's handling of the issue, according to a Wall Street Journal poll that the paper describes as "a stark warning to the 80-year-old incumbent ahead of the 2024 contest."

Sixty-three percent of American registered voters say the economy's strength is "not so good" or "poor." Just 32 percent say the economy is "good" and only five percent say the economy is "excellent."

...

When asked how the economy has fared over the past two years, 58 percent say the economy has gotten worse. Just 28 percent say the economy has gotten better. Twelve percent say the economy is about the same as it was two years ago.

Although the rate of inflation has declined this year, Americans are unhappy with rising prices. Seventy-four percent say inflation has moved in the wrong direction, with just 20 percent saying it has moved in the right direction.

Fifty-four percent say their personal financial situation has moved in the wrong direction over the past year. Thirty-eight percent say their situation has moved in the right direction. Fifty-three percent say the availability of products and goods has moved in the wrong direction.

Fifty-nine percent say they disapprove of Biden's handling of the economy, basically unchanged since the Wall Street Journal polled the question in March and April. Forty-eight percent say they "strongly" disapprove of Biden's handling of the economy.

Sixty percent say they disapprove of Biden's handling of inflation and rising costs, including a majority--51 percent-- who say they strongly disapprove.

Although Biden claims his programs are growing the economy "from the bottom up and the middle out," most Americans do not agree. Fifty-eight percent say they disapprove of Biden's handling of the issue of growing the middle class, including 47 percent who wrongly disapprove. Just 36 percent say they approve of Biden's handling of the issue.

So of course a Biden spokesliar goes and claims that 80% of Americans support Bidenomics.

Nowhere else does Joe Biden poll worse than on the economy - and for some reason, his administration has made pitching it the number one selling point of their 2024 campaign.

Speaking to Shannon Bream, Biden's Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers, Jared Bernstein, rattled off a few aspects of the Biden economic agenda that poll well, such as giving Medicare more power in negotiating drug prices (a policy supported by Trump), capping insulin costs (which Trump also pushed) and offering tax incentives for manufacturing jobs (which Trump's Tax Cuts and Jobs Act also did).

"These are the components of Bidenomics," Bernstein said. "So, when someone tells you Americans don't like Bidenomics, it's false. Americans approve of the components above 80 percent. And that's because these measures are helping do what President Biden has long sought to do in this economy: build it from the middle out and the bottom up."

They deployed this deceptive tactic all through Obama's first two terms. They tell you that people support the vague goals Obama is pursuing -- "Yes, I'd like free money, and a big boost in my salary, and all my expenses comped by the government like I'm a whale staying at the Belagio" -- and pretend that is the same as the public supporting specific plans and the implementation and results of those plans.

Don't expect a "Fact" check from Jake the Snake Tapper.

That WSJ poll also says that two thirds of Democrats believe that Biden is too old to be president -- and too old even to run for reelection.

Voters overwhelmingly think President Biden is too old to run for re-election and give him low marks for handling the economy and other issues important to their vote, according to a new Wall Street Journal poll that offers a stark warning to the 80-year-old incumbent ahead of the 2024 contest.

The negative views of Biden's age and performance in office help explain why only 39% of voters hold a favorable view of the president. In a separate question, some 42% said they approve of how he is handling his job, well below the 57% who disapprove. ...

Although the candidates are only three years apart, 73% of voters said they feel Biden is too old to seek a second term, compared with 47% of voters who said the same of the 77-year-old Trump. Two-thirds of Democrats said Biden was too old to run again.

A Biden spokesliar will soon tell us that "80% of Americans support the idea that older Americans can be very productive and valued members of society."
