It's Official: The GOPe Wants to Be Nice to Groomer Corporation Disney
Nikki Haley simultaneously declares herself part of the Old Corporate Guard of the GOPe -- as if we didn't know! -- and takes a swipe at DeSantis, piggybacking on Trump's "DeSanctimonious" insult.
What's next -- posing with a bottle of Bud Light?
So yeah, there are dividing lines being formed. GOP candidates are lining up to to defend an evil, child-corrupting groomer corporation if it helps them "draw a distinction" from "DeSanctimonious."

The entire Republican field is attacking DeSantis from the Left. I don't care if you're a Trump supporter, you have to see what a disaster it will be if this tactic is allowed to work.
Update: Fox's Trump shill Steve Hilton has on Kat Timpf to explain why it's bad that DeSantis is fighting Disney. Kat Timpf! What a strong conservative voice Hilton has to agree that we shouldn't fight corporations! Now that Kat Timpf says it, I agree completely!
The claim that this isn't coming from Trump Central is just flat-out wrong.

Quit pandering to be Trump's VP, you're better than that. This is pathetic.
Ding!
No one really believes she's running for President. She's advertising the fact that she can be an attack dog against DeSantis and blunt attacks on Trump for his difficult dealings with women and massive gender gap.
This kind of group pile-on is usually directed at the front-runner, not a challenger who hasn't even declared yet.
Relatedly: It turns out that Trump owns significant amounts of stock in InBev, the corporation that in turn owns Anheuser-Busch.
Trump stayed silent on the controversy, Trump, Jr. told people to stop boycotting his corporate frenz.
But DeSantis is the "Managed Principal" agent of the corporate establishment and "globohomo," according to Sundance and the paid Trump twitter accounts. The only guy opposing Disney is the guy secretly in their thrall. Wheels within wheels within wheels within wheels.
If you don't like me pushing back against this stupid meme that Trump's paid shills are endlessly pushing on Twitter, tell them to stop pushing that, and then I'll have no need to "counterpunch."
And maybe Trump needs to be told: This is not a winning issue for you. Republicans are rewarding DeSantis for being the only Republican willing to push back against groomer Disney.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' battles with Walt Disney Co. over a state law banning public school lessons on sexual orientation and gender identity could boost his support among U.S. Republican voters as he mulls a possible White House bid, a Reuters/Ipsos poll found.
...
Forty-four percent of Republican respondents in the two-day poll ended Tuesday said they had a more favorable view of DeSantis because of the fight with Disney, which led him to sign a retaliatory law in February that aims to strip the company of its self-governing authority at its Orlando-area park
I think Trump supporters are ignoring this/downplaying it by claiming something like, "ah, he's just insulting DeSantis."
No, he's doing a lot more than that: He's making policy going forward. He is committing himself to this Corporations Are Our Fwenz worldview, which I thought MAGA was all about repudiating, not rehabilitating.
I supported Trump because I thought he was "The Only One Who Can Fix" the GOPe's servile, slavish attitude towards the corporate donor cartel. I sure didn't support him so he could defend that cartel.
If you wonder why I keep harping on this: Because this is the single most important issue to me. This, and weaponization of government. (Which is a closely related issue, as the government enlists woke corporations to attack citizens in ways our increasingly-irrelevant Constitution says that the government itself may not participate in.)
And I'm not changing my mind about woke corporations, even if Trump wants me to.
