They lasted a day.

After pausing for much of the weekend to assess the security concerns, CBS News and Stations is resuming its activity on Twitter as we continue to monitor the situation.

Meanwhile individual journalists are fleeing free speech for the comfort of the distributed platform Mastodon, which is going about as well as you might expect.
