7 pm: Lee Zeldin vs. the sixty-year-old woman who insisted that young children be masked during lunch and eat lunch outdoors during the winter to prevent them from spreading covid (to fatass teachers), while she gallavanted around the state without ever being photographed in a mask herself.

Right out the gate, Hochul is babbling about abortion and Trump's "Big Lie."

I know, I know, everyone wants to post on the top post. But the second-most post will be just as live as the Cafe post.

A new poll by a pollster rated "A" by 538's band of leftwing hacks puts Oz ahead of Fetterman by 4 and a half points, 49.1% to 44.6%.

2.9% are undecided. When pressed, those undecided voters say they're leaning toward Oz by 59% to 41%. Note however that there's a very, very small sub-sample for that question, of only 29 people, so I would put basically zero stock in that.

Except it does feel right.

That's not even the big news in the poll. The big news in the poll is that Mastriano is now ahead of Shapiro, 50.9% to 49.1%.

Ahead of the debate -- for which Fetterman demanded three major concessions, including a computer that will tell him what was just said (and what to say in response, I'll bet) and essentially unlimited time to formulate his answers -- Fetterman is reducing expectations. "Journalists" (LOL) like partisan crusader Jonathan Alter's pig daughter Charlotte Alter are heroically helping Fetterman to reduce expectations so that no matter how poorly he does, people will shrug and say, "Well that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be."
