ABC News Producer and Investigative Journalist James Gordon Meeks Missing Since The FBI Raided His Home in April
Democrats are brazen about raiding journalists they don't like. Republicans are timid about doing this -- but it's time to stop being timid about it.
Follow the example of Democrats and raid the shit out of "enemy reporters."
ABC News reporter and investigative journalist James Gordon Meek "fell off the face of the Earth" and has not been seen by his neighbors or colleagues since the FBI raided his home in late April, Rolling Stone reported.
The FBI told Rolling Stone that agents were present on April 27 "at the 2300 block of Columbia Pike, Arlington, Virginia, conducting court-authorized law-enforcement activity," where Meek lived in the Siena Park apartments for more than a decade.
"The FBI cannot comment further due to an ongoing investigation," a Bureau spokesperson added.
Since the raid, none of Meek's neighbors or colleagues have seen him. Meek sent his last tweet on the morning of April 27.
"He fell off the face of the Earth," one of Meek's neighbors told Rolling Stone. "And people asked, but no one knew the answer."
ABC News told Rolling Stone that Meek "resigned very abruptly and hasn't worked for us for months."
....
FBI agents reportedly found classified information on Meek's laptop while conducting the raid, sources told Rolling Stone.
Journalists are routinely in possession of classified information -- but this only seems to be a problem of a significance that justifies a raid when the journalist in question threatens The Regime.
Biden's Department of Justice (DOJ) instituted a policy last year that prohibits federal authorities from seizing a journalist's records without getting approval from the deputy attorney general, which means U.S. Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco would have to sign off on the raid if those reports about the seized documents are accurate.
Meek's attorney points out that the information about classified information being found on his computer could only have come from Yet Another Illegal DOJ leak, and urges the... the DOJ to investigate itself for leaking against its targets.
Good luck with that.
Apparently Meeks was going through some personal problems at the time of the raid.

This story is disturbing. It also ignores that that is NOT the first time the DOJ has raided journalists-- they did it to three Project Veritas journalists last year re Ashley Biden diary. They do not hesitate to violate DOJ policy, law, and Constitution to serve regime ends.

Armed FBI agents and military-style vehicles conduct pre-dawn raid of journalist. Would have required approval of Deputy AG Lisa Monaco, Obama loyalist running DOJ.
Then DOJ leaked details of investigation to reporters.
All GOP Senators voted to confirm this totalitarian thug except for Cruz and Ryan.
Republicans are aware they're permitted to actually oppose totalitarian leftists, right?
But no, no -- the only thing that matters is collegiality. It's so important to Mitch and Lindsey and John Cornyn and John Thune and Richard Burr to get along with their Very Good Friends across the aisle in the Senate, and their Very Good Friends in the corrupt and permanent Deep State.
