Good afternoon and welcome to the almost world famous Ace of Spades Pet Thread. Thanks for stopping by. Kick back and enjoy the world of animals.
Would you like a treat?
Let's enjoy the world of animals and leave the world of politics outside today.

Shout-out to our friends at the TXMOME from the Pet Thread! Photo by "Perfessor" Squirrels at sunrise.

Pet Adventures
OwlKitty remade Titanic, but with their cat.
Meet The PetMorons
My 10 year old dobie loves to go fishing with dad. She'll even try to dive into the water after the fish is released.
S. Lynn
Awwww . . .
Grandfurbabies incoming.
This is Oliver, my son's latest rescue. He never knew loves or toys. His home now is full of both.
Just great!

This is Butters, the Corgi. She's just a love bug.
Looks like a love bug.

This is C.J. He's half border collie and half St. Bernard. He's one big border collie
Interesting combination . . . .

The evening before we brought Bailey home. Her owner was unable to keep her so, we made the trip to enemy territory, AKA CA, and brought her home.
Sweet pooch, but, needs some work on the leash, though, she seems to be most of the way there. Unreal amount of energy, mostly due to her being just about 2 years old.
Also, very much the lap dog, if given half a chance. Usual traits of a Golden Retriever: playful and sweet.
-Blake - semi lurker in marginal standing
Looks like a sweet pup!

Hi! I'm a long-time lurker. You can call me Southern_Grace (my Disqus ID). Love to peruse the site for the tons of salty information but have never commented. The Saturday Pet Thread may be my fave feature on this site. Been meaning to share a pic of my sweeties for a while now. Dixie is the little brown dachshund, age 6. She has a typical doxie personality and works on keeping the others in line. Penny is the beagle, age 4. Her baying is music to my ears, and my neighbors seem to be good sports about it. And Dolly the basset hound is the baby--her 3rd birthday is coming up in a couple of months. Their love and affection helps keep me steady and grounded. They are very cuddly and love their long walks and social outings at our local dog park. They are very friendly and loving to all, including children and other dogs, and have nicely filled up my empty nest. Hounds are the best, IMO!
Please keep up the cheerful, uplifting work--we need it more than ever during these dark times. Thank you!
Three of them! Wow!

If you start feeling nostalgic, here a link to last week's Pet Thread, the Ace of Spades Pet Thread, October 15. Some special PetMoron stories and photos there.
I closed the comments on this post so you wouldn't get banned for commenting on a week-old post, but don't try it anyway.
