Queen Elizabeth Under Close Medical Watch As Her Children Are Summoned to Be By Her Side

This seems very serious. The BBC says the royals almost never issue statements about the Queen's health.

The Queen is under medical supervision at Balmoral after doctors became concerned for her health, Buckingham Palace has said.

All the Queen's children are gathering at, or are travelling to, her Scottish estate near Aberdeen.

"Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen's doctors are concerned for Her Majesty's health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision," a statement said.

The Queen is "comfortable", it added.

It is very unusual for Buckingham Palace to put out a statement like this - it is usually unwilling to provide a commentary on the 96-year-old monarch's medical matters, which are seen as private.

Prince Charles has travelled to Balmoral with his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall.

The Duke of Cambridge, the Duke of York, and the Earl and Countess of Wessex arrived at Aberdeen airport just before 16:00 BST.

There are also warnings against unfounded speculation, such as that she might have had a fall. And on Tuesday she was photographed smiling as she appointed new Prime Minister Liz Truss.

But from the last-minute cancellation of what would only have been a virtual meeting of the Privy Council - of senior ministers - there is no mistaking the fragility of the Queen's health.

Ms Truss said the "whole country" would be "deeply concerned" by the news.

It just so happens that Meghan and her c*ckold were in the country as this happened. What a coincidence. And now they're on their way, even though the Queen would not want to see them, but the Important Thing Here is that Meghan gets herself photographed.

Whoops, update: Apparently Meghan isn't coming at the moment, though an earlier story said she was.

Prince Harry is headed to Balmoral, where Buckingham Palace has announced Queen Elizabeth has been placed under medical supervision. According to the BBC, only Prince Harry is traveling to Scotland, and Meghan is staying in England, and will potentially join at a later date. Earlier in the day, a spokesperson for the Sussexes shared they would both be traveling to Balmoral, but plans clearly changed.

I think she was coming, until a stern message from the royals' people told them, "Under no circumstances is that poisonous whore to come within 100 miles of the Queen."

I wouldn't want Harry there, either. But I guess they'll have him there for the sake of appearances. Maybe they'll keep him outside with the horses. His mum and his real father would've liked that.

Harry has a book which had been scheduled to come out for Christmas this year, about the royal family. Megyn Kelly and a guest were discussing the fact that Harry was expected to include some hot, nasty gossip about the royal family, and maybe the queen, to justify the huge and unwarranted advance he'd gotten for the book.

People were already speculating that the book would be delayed. I think now they might rush it to publication.

Uh-Oh: This isn't a good sign.

Yup:

I watched a special on the Queen's life, and she was a stalwart, dignified woman her entire life.

She was a mechanic during WWII, and still loved driving her own car when she could.

Charles is going to be a woke disaster.

That does sound like something the Queen would say. She created herself a new estate and called herself the Duchess of Ligma, so it all checks out.
