Democrat Politician Arrested for Stabbing a Journalist to Death

Domestic violence. One spouse killing the other, if you consider Democrats and the media to be a married couple, which I do.

The Democrat politician is one Robert Telles. You have to search quite a bit to discover his partisan affiliation, because, you know, the media is so honest.

In 2018 Telles first ran for Clark County Public Administrator as a Democrat. He won by beating Republican candidate Thomas Fougere. He took office in January 2019 to serve a four-year term which ends on Jan. 2, 2023.

Telles lost his reelection bid, partly due to this journalists' reportage of his problems.

Amid continued office unrest, embattled Clark County Public Administrator Robert Telles has conceded a close Democratic primary race to his top deputy.

But Telles remains combative.

A chillingly prescient statement, in retrospect.

And the deputy, Assistant Public Administrator Rita Reid, said Wednesday there is still office tension that has left employees vulnerable.

"It's still uncomfortable because he's going to be in the office for another six months," Reid said. "Instead of trying to heal the office, he's still pulling us apart."

The journalist had written about problems in this Democrats' office, including "bullying" and an "inappropriate relationship" with a staffer.

The Clark County Public Administrator's office has been mired in turmoil and internal dissension over the past two years, with allegations of emotional stress, bullying and favoritism leading to secret videotaping of the boss and a co-worker outside the office.

Some of the office's employees secretly videotaped Telles necking with the staffer in his car. German published the video.

And now, the Democrat Telles has been arrested for brutally stabbing the 69-year-old journalist to death.

A Las Vegas-area elected public official was arrested Wednesday as the suspect in the fatal stabbing of a veteran newspaper reporter whose investigations of the official's work preceded his primary loss in June.

Clark County Public Administrator Robert "Rob" Telles, a Democrat, was taken into custody at his home by police SWAT officers hours after investigators served a search warrant and confiscated vehicles in the criminal probe of the killing of Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter Jeff German, Sheriff Joe Lombardo told the newspaper.

The Review-Journal says they're relieved that another deadly, murderous Democrat has finally been taken off the streets.

The newspaper's executive editor, Glenn Cook, said in a statement that "the arrest of Robert Telles is at once an enormous relief and an outrage for the Review-Journal newsroom."

"We are relieved Robert Telles is in custody and outraged that a colleague appears to have been killed for reporting on an elected official," Cook said.

The murderous, criminal Democrat Telles, who had absolutely no problem procuring a simple knife and butchering a journalist, is of course a huge advocate for... gun control.

If the journalist Jeff German had had a gun, Telles would be dead, rather than himself.

The shooting in my hometown of El Paso is heartbreaking. There's no reason these shootings should happen. Tragically, we will see needless violence like this unless we reject the hateful rhetoric, deal with mental health and enact some reasonable gun-control measures nationally.

The problem isn't guns.

The problem is... Democrat voters.

Now this story should be perfect fodder for the "We Run Into Burning Buildings" media, which is always praising itself for the dangers it faces, sitting on their fat asses in their air-conditioned cubicles and endlessly scrolling through Twitter looking for "stories."

They should highlight this story to prove how "brave" they are.

But that's a problem -- once again, the criminal here is the Wrong Kind of Criminal. He's a Democrat. That doesn't fit with their narrative.

Don't worry -- they'll refuse to mention his political affiliation, and then quickly segue into stories about "Ultra-MAGA Republicans" who hate the press and are a Clear and Present Danger to the Republic.

The Washington Post's Aaron Blake seemed to be Positioning Progressives for Success with his brave and heroic reportage about... Trump supporters giving the middle finger to hostile media photographers.

Humorous. But it will be galling when they report this story, ignore the killer's actual politics, and then run B-roll footage of Trump supporters chanting "CNN Sucks!" to prove that it's Republicans, not Democrats, who are the Threat to Democracy.

They won't show video of their political allies antifa beating the shit out of reporters for daring to film them.

No, they'll just show Republicans chanting "Jim Acosta sucks." You know -- the real menace.
