My Uncle Has An ONT, That No One Knows About
Welcome to Friday night meme madness. Chose your war.
Tonight's drinking game
Feel 29 yet?
It's hot. They just enacted water restrictions, and all of the electronic signs on 20 now say WARNING:EXTREME WILDFIRE DANGER
Tragedy
Tragedy at a performance in Hong Kong by the boy band Mirror. The dancer survived, the stage collapsed under his head mitigating the impact. There is a second video shot from the front rows linked to this one, you'll have to click through to see it, it's a lot more graphic (no gore, as I said, the video screen punched his head through the stage) so I'm not going to embed it. Lets hope he recovers quickly.
A plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel
I think I have a new motto for the family crest
Life finds a way
I'm not sure what's going on
Well, that ripped my heart out
The interesting thing is the reaction of the crowd
But what did the rats do?
I wholeheartedly endorse exposing more fans to hockey, but there is a learning curve
So you had a bad day
He's still lost
Today is Geddy Lee's birthday, so Doof sent in a meme. He's no Leslie Nielsen, but he's still a pretty important Canadian, so I'm posting it
Doof, next time send a larger one
Coffee sure is expensive these days
Names for ladybugs
I'm told that in Spanish they are “Mariquita” which translates as “little faggot”. Anyone know any other weird things ladybugs are called?
The meme for Kuzco. The meme chosen especially for Kuzco. Kuzco's meme
I'm not sure if this counts as a doodle or not. Still, posting it for Bluebell
Fido and feline Friday, together at last!
The duality of man
I actually see a lot of memes on the above subject from young people these days. Broadly speaking, the two sides of the meme encompass the dual roles of men in traditional western society: being strong to protect your family and drawing the strength to do it from them. Of course, now that's considered “toxic masculinity” and scorned by society, but I see a deep longing for it among today's youth. Maybe throwing away societal roles that evolved over millennia to appease angry feminazis wasn't such a hot idea.
Tonight's ONT has been brought to you by angels among us:
