First-World Problems...

That crumbling metal is the frame that holds the "flavor bars" in place below the grill grates of my barely 13-year-old grill. I understand the stresses the frame undergoes...heating and cooling and high humidity, but it seems to me that it could be made out of something a bit more substantial than the pot-metal crap made by the low bidder.

And to make matters worse, one of the burners won't light. The igniter works, and it even gets propane for a nice flame, but the gas isn't getting to the burner tube.

I use this grill...a lot! So much that I have to deep clean it every couple of months. So I have been able to watch the progression of the decay, which has been one of the most painful events of my life...almost as bad as discovering that my PC clock is 0.206 seconds slow compared to the National Institute of Standards clock!

But I will soldier on, in spite of crisis after crisis! Or maybe I should just crawl under the bed and weep...
