Dave Chappelle Attacked on Stage

There is actually a danger to constantly claiming "words are actual violence."

Los Angeles police have identified and arrested the man who allegedly attacked Dave Chappelle onstage at the Hollywood Bowl during the Netflix Is A Joke festival. Police say 23-year-old Isaiah Lee was taken into custody for assault with a deadly weapon on Tuesday night.
The deadly weapon in question is a plastic replica gun, that shoots forth a blade, we are told. Lee was taken to the LAPD Hollywood Division, law enforcement sources confirm.

Chappelle's security team intercepted the thug. They formed a ring around him and taught him some manners.

After a few minutes, Chappelle came back out to the stage and resumed the act, noting that he just "stomped a n****'s ass backstage" and that he'd always wanted to do that. (Language warning.)

And I don't think he's kidding about that. Content warning on this next video:
The thug's arm looks painfully broken and dislocated to me.
