The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

Well, now with everything getting more expensive inflation through the roof, gas prices are unaffordable, those very people are going to wish that they had kept those jobs and wish that they had had their dedication to hard work ethic maintained.

But the government is responsible for this because the government trained people to be lazy, so what do you expect? Tomi Lahren

Quote II

“I’m in Chicago and was able to see Jussie today, and he’s strong, but what’s happening inside is just — it’s just unacceptable,. Today is the first day that he’s going to be able to get an actual bed. He’s been sleeping on a restraint bed.” Black Lives Matter co-founder and avowed Marxist Patrisse Cullors

No one ever said, "72 hour holds are fun".

Quote III

"The biggest European land war since World War II, and where is our military focused? Gender dysphoria and woke training,Republican congressional candidate Mitchell Swan, a retired Marine Corps colonel

Slavery ended over 100 years ago. Someone needs to explain to an idiot Twitter math.

John Cleese has clapped back at backlash he faced following a joke he made about slavery during a SXSW talk, after he had his ‘microphone taken away’ from him.

The 82-year-old Monty Python star fronted his titular event, John Cleese in Conversation, at SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, on March 11 – alongside fellow comedians Dulcé Sloan, Jim Gaffigan, and Ricky Velez.

According to the Hollywood Reporter Cleese, along with his fellow comics, discussed colonisation in the talk.

‘[People] get competitive about this business of being oppressed,’ the Rat Race actor said. ‘You do know the British have been slaves twice, right.’

What is the difference between Anorexia....>

and a USA Today Woman of the Year? One is a treatable disorder. The other is a fucking joke.

This week, USA TODAY unveiled its “Women of the Year” list, which, predictably, was dominated by woke public figures such as Simone Biles, Melinda French Gates, and Vice President Kamala Harris. But, in true “woke” fashion, one name that made the list was not a biological woman.

Dr. Rachel Levine, the U.S. Assistant Secretary for Health, made the cut for USA TODAY’s “Women of the Year.” Levine, a four-star admiral, was born a biological male, Richard Levine, and transitioned to live as a female. Previously, Levine was secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

“Levine, 64, a trained pediatrician, became the nation's highest-ranking openly transgender official last March when the Senate confirmed her as assistant secretary of health,” USA TODAY wrote.

The Senate has done the right thing. Will the House go along? And if they do will Mush Brains sign it into law?

The US Senate has unanimously passed a bill to make Daylight Saving Time permanent across the nation. The Sunshine Protection Act still has to face a vote in the House, but if eventually passed would mean an end to changing the clocks twice a year -- and a potential end to depressing early afternoon darkness during winter.

The Sunshine Protection bill was reintroduced by Republican Sen. Marco Rubio in 2021. Rubio said Tuesday that permanent Daylight Saving Time will help prevent pedestrian accidents, reduce crime and decrease seasonal depression and childhood obesity.

The bipartisan bill is "commonsense," according to co-sponsor Democratic Sen. Ron Wyden.

"Springing forward and falling back year after year only creates unnecessary confusion while harming Americans' health and our economy," Wyden said last year. "Making Daylight Saving permanent would give folks an hour back of sunshine during the winter months when we need it most."

Common sense? Why we can't have that, can we?

Is Ukraine finished? One former army general thinks so.

It looks like retired Colonel Douglas Macgregor was right a week ago when he told a disbelieving Stuart Varney that Russia would take Ukraine.

Macgregor said, "The first five days, Russian forces I think, frankly, were too gentle. They’ve now corrected that. So I would say another 10 days, this should be completely over. But the question is, what is it that Zelensky is going to do? The Russians have made it very clear what they want is a neutral Ukraine. This could’ve ended days ago if he accepted that. And then they can adjust the borders, but the eastern part of Ukraine is firmly in Russian hands, but again, the Russians are not seizing territory. They’re destroying Ukrainian forces. That’s their focus."

His argument was that Zelensky should cut a deal, agree to keep Ukraine neutral in the NATO-Russia standoff and give up some of the Russian-dominated eastern Ukraine. Macgregor did not see Zelensky as a hero.

While the Back Seat Driver errrr I mean the Resident of The White House plans on traveling to Europe. Please God don't let anything happen to him. Kamala "The San Francisco Headhunter" Harris cannot be president.

President Biden is expected to travel to Brussels, Belgium, next week for a NATO summit on Russia's war in Ukraine, the White House said Tuesday.

Biden will join the "extraordinary" NATO summit that will convene March 24.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the president will "discuss the ongoing deterrence and defense efforts in response to Russia's unprovoked and unjustified attack on Ukraine as well as to reaffirm our ironclad commitment to our NATO allies."

I'm in the midst of my 'Winter 10#' I'm hoping I can lose it. Not easy being 29 anymore. The Nazi Covid lock-downs have produced a number of side effects. Weight gain is just another.

I Gained 70 Pounds During COVID. Here's What Happened On My First Day Back In The Office.

"While I had noticed my weight gain when working from home, I wasn’t aware of it on a minute-by-minute basis, and I certainly didn’t have to worry about what anyone else thought about it."

Since this makes "Perfect Sense". It will never happen. Ever, never, ever.

Food for the Table, Not for the Gas Tank
With prices skyrocketing, it’s time for Washington to suspend—and ultimately repeal—the Renewable Fuel Standard.

We live in a highly interconnected world, so it’s no surprise that the shockwaves from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine are reverberating around the globe. Energy prices are spiking as the U.S. and other countries impose embargoes on Russian fossil fuels. And a looming global food shortage threatens to be even more disruptive. Between them, Ukraine and Russia account for about one-third of the wheat available on the world’s export markets. They also export large shares of corn, barley, vegetable oils, and other foodstuffs. Today, Ukraine’s ports are shut down and exports are at a standstill. Meantime, Russia is hoarding grain for its domestic market, and Hungary has suspended exports in anticipation of shortages. Other countries are likely to follow suit.

What we need is more Corn Flakes and less ethanol. Sorry Iowa corn farmers.

Putting people first. Putting profits first. Good on you Pfizer.

fizer Inc. said it would no longer start new clinical trials in Russia and that it would donate all profits from its subsidiary in the country to Ukraine relief causes.

At the same time, the drugmaker said in a statement that it will continue to supply medicines to Russia, out of fear that vulnerable patients such as children and elderly people who rely on its therapies could be harmed by any halt.

The company “concluded that a voluntary pause in the flow of our medicines to Russia would be in direct violation of our foundational principle of putting patients first,” according to the statement. Pfizer said it doesn’t own or operate any manufacturing sites in Russia and plans to cease planned investments with local suppliers.

This is another of those videos that would have been deleted from the internet just a few short months ago… even though the points they are making are both rational and defensible.

It’s a conversation between two doctors. One of them is host Dr. Drew (David Drew Pinsky), substantial list of credentials here. The other is his guest, Dr. Tracey Høeg, who is a Danish epidemiologist and vaccine researcher living in America.

Actually, activists seek rent control. However, if "successful" the result will be less new home construction.

Lately Florida has produced a significant number of Genius Award Winners. Tonight is no different. Genius Award Winner.

ARCH 14--A Florida Woman was arrested Saturday afternoon for allegedly shooting a neighbor in the face. With a water pistol.

According to police, Renee Bolduc, 40, was inside her residence at the King of the Road mobile home park in St. Petersburg when Nicole Hosmer, 44, walked past the property.

Bolduc, cops allege, exited her home and stood on the porch, where she “took a water gun and squirted the victim in the face.” Hosmer “never went onto the defendant’s property nor did she make any aggressive statements,” according to an arrest affidavit.

Bolduc allegedly squirted Hosmer in the face because she “was upset the victim was walking on ‘her street.’” Hosmer lives a few lots away from Bolduc at the King of the Road development.
