Meet The PetMorons
That Deplorable SOB Van Owen here:
Bailey went on her normal exploration run (we're at the farm) around 4:30pm Tuesday. She's usually gone less than an hour, but this time she didn't come back - we were upset and worried, needless to say. Finally, she showed up at 5:00am Wednesday morning with a nasty gash under her left foreleg. We got her to the vet for sutures (took a lot), and she will be fine. She does NOT like the cone of shame!
This being Christmas and her birthday week, Bailey is going to find a rather hefty vet bill in her stocking along with her treats.
Merry Belated Christmas to the Horde, both two- and four-legged!
Trust me Horde, it was one bad looking wound. I decided not to show you. Van Owen glad that Bailey made it back home although worse for wear. Hopefully she is recovering well.

We had to help our dear Bandit cross the Rainbow Bridge on Thursday evening - we got home around 4:00 pm after being on vacation since Dec. 19th; had to take Bandit to the vet not long after that, as her back legs were not working. She was gone by 10:00 pm. The vet said that the x-ray showed a large mass in her abdominal cavity which was probably causing her a lot of pain - apparently Great Pyrenees are quite stoic - we had no clue that she was in so much pain.
Our late daughter Michelle was the one who "found" Bandit 14 years ago. Bandit loved her family, and always placed herself between her "people" and the rest of the world. She would bark every time a leaf fell, and oh, how we are going to miss her "dog alarm"! She was the BEST dog, and our hearts are broken.
From 11 years ago, a short video of Bandit. Michelle had given her some peanut butter, and Bandit loved it! It's bittersweet to hear Michelle talking and laughing. But now Bandit is back with "her" girl: - Teresa in Fort Worth
I really don't know what to say Teresa. I know my heart goes out to you on your loss of Bandit along with Michelle. It is a neat video.

I keep meaning to send this for inclusion on the thread.
Here we have Mommy, daddy and Dogter.. Momma is Bear (also called the little brown hussy). Jackson (the big galoot) is the daddy. And Autumn (the wolf puppy) is their daughter. Best and Autumn tend to roughhouse all day. Jackson loves running in the yard and giving hugs.
Oh .. forgot to mention .. when not lurking at the HQ... I post under confuzzled
My what great expressions your dogs display for the camera. Sounds like you have your hands full at Casa Confuzzled. Thanks for sharing with us.

This is Butter Fluff. after I drew the cat from last week I shared the picture with a friend of mine. he told me that Butter Fluff crossed the rainbow bridge a few months ago and his kids are still broken up about it, so i drew this for them. I think Butter Fluff is a great name for a cat. Peace. - Sobek
Beautiful work Sobek. Hopefully this sketch will give some peace to your friend's kids.
