Techno Fog: Durham Filing Says That Clinton Campaign Personnel Are Involved "In Matters Before the Special Counsel"
I'm not sure if this really means anything.
Is this a big catch by Techno_Fog, or is it just a matter of, "well, of course they're vaguely involved 'in matters before the Special Counsel'?"
Not sure.
Techno_Fog notes that Igor Danchenko's new lawyer is noted by Durham as also currently representing the 2016 "Hillary For America" presidential campaign (how cozy!!!),"as well as multiple former employees of that campaign, in matters before the Special Counsel."
He points out that Danchenko's lawyer might therefore have conflicts of interest when he represents both Danchenko and the Clinton campaign and its personnel, such as:
the Clinton Campaign's knowledge or lack of knowledge concerning the veracity of information in the Fusion GPS reports sourced by Danchenko,
the Clinton Campaign's awareness or lack of awareness of Dancehnko's collection methods and sub-sources,
meetings or communications between and among the Clinton Campaign, Fusion GPS, and/or Steele regarding or involving Danchenko
Danchenko knowledge or lack of knowledge regarding the Clinton Campaign's role in and activities surrounding the Fusion GPS reports, and
the extent to which the Clinton Campaign and/or its representatives directed, solicited, or controlled Danchenko's activities.
Durham even raises the potential that members of the Clinton Campaign may be called to testify at Danchenko's trial.
Which might mean he might, oh, who knows, fail to zealously represent the interests of Danchenko in order to represent more important clients. Like, clients who rank higher in the criminal conspiracy, let's say, hypothetically and allegedly.
Techno_Fog wonders if this is meaningful, as far as divulging Durham's beliefs about the Clinton campaign's responsibility for the fake (and criminally fraudulent, it seems) dossier, and who might be next on his list for interviews and subpeonas.
