Rittenhouse Trial: Littlefinger Demands to Know Why Rittenhouse Didn't Let a Man Who Threatened to Kill Him Twice Take His Gun From Him »
November 10, 2021
Round-Up of the End of Today's Testimony and Quick Hits
One of Rekieta's commentators says that it wasn't just us who checked out of the trial. According to someone present in the courtroom, the jurors did, too, and stopped taking notes and appeared to be dozing off, and became annoyed with Littlefinger's tedious, repetitive questions.
That is literally what I did.
She speculates that the defense failed to object as a choice, choosing to let the prosecutor fatigue the jury and annoy them.
Littlefinger wants to introduce an altered image from an iPhone video showing, supposedly, Kyle pointing the gun at someone. The judge says a prior expert testified that the process of magnification alters the image with artificial-intelligence guesswork, filling in pixels as it guesses where they should be. The judge said he would entertain expert testimony as to whether this would be admissible, but Littlefinger attempted to testify as an expert witness again and attempted to bull the judge over with his own uninformed opinion of what this magnification program did.
The judge was not having it from Littlefinger. He told Littlefinger he wasn't interested in hearing his opinions on the technology. When Littlefinger whined that this was "important" evidence and that it might be hard to secure an expert, the judge told him, in so many words, "Well you'd better get on that then, Sparky."
Yesterday, the judge in the Rittenhouse trial revealed he caught someone filming the jurors as they moved from the courthouse to the court bus.
Kenosha County Circuit Court Judge Bruce Schroeder revealed at the start of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial that someone had filmed the jury at their bus pickup on Tuesday morning. He assured the jurors the video was deleted and more steps will be taken to protect them.
"At pickup, there was someone there and video recording the jury, which officers approached the person and required [them]...to delete the video and return the phone to him. I've instructed that if it happens again, they are to take the phone and bring it here," Schroeder said.
"Something like that should not have occurred, I’m frankly, quite surprised it did," he added.
The revelation comes shortly after Cortez Rice, who says he is George Floyd's nephew, claimed in a livestream he knew people were taking photos of the Rittenhouse jury while being in the courtroom. Rice has since deleted the video but copies were made and posted to social media.
UK primary school -- elementary school -- asks boys to wear skirts to promote equality.
A primary school has asked boys as well as girls as young as three to go in today wearing skirts – to ‘promote equality’.
But the request from Castleview Primary in Edinburgh has been criticised by some parents.
It follows a similar move in Spain where teachers and children have worn skirts to show solidarity with a boy who was expelled for wearing one last year.
November 4 is now 'wear a skirt to school day' in Spain.
An email to parents from Castleview said it wanted children to be 'comfortable' taking part and that trousers and leggings could be worn under the skirts if needed.
They want 6-9 year old boys to be "comfortable" with cross-dressing.
And that's not all.
Some outfit is now offering pole dancing classes... for children.
I hope even the Suburban Wine Aunts are beginning to understand the agenda now.
But the Tweets are still nice, I trust?
Biden's Secretary of Energy, fresh off giggling about the US no longer pumping oil, now confirms that yes, you will be paying more for heating oil this winter.
