Colin Kaepernick, Who By the Way Is Half-White and Very Ashamed of That, Claims That the NFL Draft Is Exactly Like a Slave Auction
Millions of people play football for free. Millions of people dream of playing football for money.
A very small few get to play football for money.
Colin Kaepernick claims that the draft process, in which teams scout players and and test them in combines for speed and skill, is really just a modern-day slave auction.
Colin Kaepernick has always had a problem with having to prove that he was capable of performing at a pro level. He was never a particularly good quarterback. After he quit for a couple of years, he began claiming the league was racist for not begging this overweight, over-the-hill, inactive former player to start as quarterback for them.
The NFL wanted to avoid being called a racist, so they took the unprecedented step of setting up a "workout" -- a try-out, really -- for a single player, Kaepernick. All the teams could come and see if Kaepernick was still capable of playing at the former very mediocre level which had resulted in him being benched mid-way through a season.
But Kaepernick refused! I think he realized he would just embarrassed himself. Instead, he staged his own private "workout." Few teams showed up to watch him, and no teams made an offer, despite every time having access to videotape of his performance.
Colin Kaepernick's much-awaited NFL workout did not go as planned after he abruptly changed the venue at the last minute. The league is accusing him of not showing up for the event.
He had a message for the league: The ball is in their court, so to speak.
"So we're waiting for the 32 owners, the 32 teams, (Commissioner) Roger Goodell, all of them to stop running," said Kaepernick, who hasn’t played in nearly three years following a season in which he protested social injustice by refusing to stand for the National Anthem.
The league said in a statement that Kaepernick called officials at 2:30 p.m. ET, saying he would not appear at a workout set up by the league at the practice facility for the Atlanta Falcons. The quarterback, instead, held a session in Riverdale, south of Atlanta. About 300 fans – and at least six scouts – came to see him.
Netflix gave this leftwing activist money to produce a "documentary" -- because of course they did; people's Netflix fees go to fund leftwing causes nigh-exclusively -- and he used that money to make an expensive justification for refusing to participate in the NFL's try outs, now claiming that the draft process (and the try-out process, of course) are no different than slaves being put up on blocks and evaluated by white slavemasters.
Colin Kaepernick is slammed for comparing NFL to SLAVERY in new Netflix doc: Black players are inspected by white coaches before appearing in shackles on an auction block
In Colin Kaepernick's new Netflix special, Colin in Black & White, former NFL player Colin Kaepernick compared NFL training camps to slavery
He said potential players are 'paraded out' in front of coaches, scouts and owners, who measure their physical talents and on-field abilities, like slaves
'No boundary respect,' Kaepernick, who earned an average annual salary of $19 million during his playing days, continued. 'No dignity left intact.'

The scene then cuts to the actors altering into slaves for sale at an auction with shackles on while white slave owners examine and place bids on them
In one scene, owners start whipping players as Kaepernick tries to attempt a comparison between the abuse slaves suffered and the NFL Scouting Combine
