The images of thousands upon thousands -- literally growing by the thousands every few hours -- trying to cross the border was becoming an embarrassment for the tyrannical-but-incompetent Biden Administration.

According to a law enforcement source within CBP, more than 8,000 mostly Haitian migrants continue to swell under the Texas Port of Entry bridge. The Border Patrol is struggling to deal with what may soon become the worst migrant humanitarian crisis in the agency's history.

According to the source, the groups are entering at a pace of 800-1,200 per eight-hour shift. Local Border Patrol stations and processing facilities are at capacity.

On Wednesday evening, the total reached 7,074. A rudimentary white board is used by the Border Patrol to track the number of migrants entering the camp, but they are arriving at a pace that quickly renders the system inaccurate.

The situation was so dire that federal officials asked the state of Texas for help -- prompting governor Greg Abbot to announcing he was shutting down six points of entry.

The sheer negligence of the Biden Administration to do their job and secure the border is appalling. I have directed the Department of Public Safety and the Texas National Guard to surge personnel and vehicles to shut down six points of entry along the southern border to stop these caravans from overrunning our state. The border crisis is so dire that the U.S. Customs and Border Protection is requesting our help as their agents are overwhelmed by the chaos. Unlike President Biden, the State of Texas remains committed to securing our border and protecting Americans.

This doesn't look good for any president, but especially one whose job approval has dropped to 42-50 in the very Democrat-skewing Qunippiac poll. (Independents disapprove by 52-34.)

But the Biden Puppet Show has the answer for that -- more tyranny!

Just make it illegal to show the public what its government is doing, problem solved!

On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel' "Tucker Carlson Tonight," Fox News National Correspondent Bill Melugin reported that the FAA has imposed a temporary flight restriction for the area around the bridge where thousands of migrants are congregating near Del Rio, TX, and as a result, Fox can't use its drone to capture aerial footage of the situation around the bridge. Melugin also said they've used the drone around the border for seven months and it hasn't been a problem until now.

Melugin said, "We've been using our drone to show everybody these remarkable pictures... We just learned that the FAA has put out a temporary flight restriction, a TFR, in the area immediately around the port of entry where that bridge is. What does that mean? It means our drone can no longer fly and show those images. It's a two-week TFR, and according to the FAA, it's for special security reasons.

Securing the public from seeing Biden's newest disaster.

"We've reached out to the FAA to get a little clarification on what the heck that means. The timing on this, the location, a little bit curious. I just want to point out, Fox News has been at the border for the better part of seven months now. We've been using the drone the entire time. It’s never been an issue. All of a sudden, the last 24 hours, we start showing these images at this bridge and a TFR goes up. We can no longer fly."

Only the conservative media is covering this -- the leftwing media now approves of shutting down press coverage of government disasters.

Update: Overnight, the numbers of illegal migrants swelled to 12,000.

We don't have video of this huge crush of illegal aliens, thanks to Biden forbidding anyone from documenting the situation.
