The Moderate, Centrist Democrat Relentlessly Promoted By NeverTrump Declares That We're Facing "The Most Significant Test of Our Democracy Since the Civil War"

Say, didn't the US government use military troops to imprison and kill those who disputed the regime during the Civil War?

His leftist defenders, in both the leftist media and the NeverTrump wing of the leftist media, will of course say "He was just being hyperbolic."

But Biden took care of that by adding "That's not hyperbole" after his statement.

Isn't it perfectly strange that all the liberal-leaning Republicans (and now simply liberal progressive straight-ticket Democrats) were always warning us about Trump's "authoritarian" streak, but now find themselves unable to utter even a single negative comment about Sundowner's implicit threat to declare actual war on the opposition?

Strangely enough, even though the authoritarian leftwing illegitimate government of the US has proclaimed that January 6 constituted an "insurrection" of "seditionists" and "traitors" to the US, not a single charge of sedition or treason has been levied.

Accusations against Jan. 6 rioter Thomas Caldwell certainly seem to fit the charge of sedition as it’s generally understood — inciting revolt against the government. And the possibility of charging him and others was widely discussed after thousands of pro-Trump supporters assaulted scores of police officers, defaced the U.S. Capitol and hunted for lawmakers to stop the certification. Some called their actions treasonous.

But to date, neither Caldwell nor any of the other more than 500 defendants accused in the attack has been indicted for sedition or for the gravest of crimes a citizen can face, treason. And as an increasing number of lesser charges are filed and defendants plead guilty, those accusations may never be formally levied.

The leftwing enemy-of-the-people AP is making the case that the government should charge them all with treason there. They're mad at Biden's Political Prosecutors for not levying sedition and treason charges.

And NeverTrump says nothing.
