Michigan's governor is a despicable grimalkin.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) hit the bar this weekend and violated her own coronavirus orders, according to a photo Breitbart News has exclusively obtained.

Whitmer and a large group of friends, including her appointed chief operations officer, Tricia Foster, visited the Landshark in East Lansing, violating her restaurant orders in the process, according to a photo one of the attendees posted on Facebook.

I'm torn on the following story. Part of me says it is wrong to seize someone's money without legal proceedings. On the other hand. LOLGF'd!

The federal government is making the claim that a Capitol rioter should not financially benefit from criminal conduct as they’ve seized proceeds from a defendant that were the result of a video he made as a riot participant.

Federal authorities have seized more than $90,000 from a Utah bank account owned by a John Earle Sullivan, 26. He’s been charged with playing a role in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. The government says it is illegally earned money by licensing a video he recorded among the mass of protesters both inside and outside the Capitol. Sullivan had contractual agreements with media companies, which included NBC and CNN, Law & Crime reported.

It's fun to watch "woke" liberal guilt in action.

REVEALED: Most of the $50 million in woke corporate donations to racial justice causes did not reach black communities
American corporations that have pledged to support black communities over the past year have been lax in paying out, according to a new study.

Out of the mouths of babes........

Sophie Smith couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw a goat munching on leaves in the yard of her suburban Christchurch home.

“It’s a f...ing goat,” the mum-of-two yelled as she reached for her phone to film the unlikely visitor about 4pm on Friday.

As she did so, Smith’s 2-year-old daughter Ivy, perched on a toy oven looking out a window at the goat, mimicked her mother saying “a f...ing goat’s outside”.

“It’s just a goat,” Sophie replies before the cheeky toddler again points out the window saying, “No, it’s a f...ing goat.”

EPA “Disappears” the 1930s Drought and Heat Wave Climate Data

The EPA has deleted (this chart and data no longer exist at the EPA website) its prior indicator climate data trend chart showing “unusually hot and cold temperatures” across the U.S. and showing the U.S. Heat Wave Index from 1895 to 2015 (shown below) that clearly established the unique drought and heat period of the 1930s.

Baltimore cops save woman, but she says shooting was ‘not fair’

On Sunday, a child called 911 and reported that his father was trying to stab his mother. Officers pleaded with the suspect to drop the knife for over two minutes. The suspect refused and officers fatally shot 49-year-old Timothy Fleming.

Baltimore — On Sunday, a child called 911 and reported that his father was trying to stab his mother. When Baltimore Police Officer Gaston Melendez and his trainee arrived, they encountered a suspect holding his fiancée at knifepoint. Officers pleaded with the suspect to drop the knife for over two minutes. The suspect refused and officers fatally shot 49-year-old Timothy Fleming.

On Wednesday, police released the body camera footage showing the heroic efforts by the officers. Officer Melendez was calm while negotiating with Fleming, who was just a few feet away holding a knife. Officer Melendez even told Fleming that he could keep the knife—so long as he let his fiancé, Shannon Burnham, leave unharmed.

But after two minutes of negotiating, Fleming suddenly stood up, took an aggressive posture towards his fiancé—and swung the knife back. Due to the immiment deadly harm that Fleming was about to inflict with the knife, Officers responded and shot Fleming.

Burnham told ABC Baltimore that she was scared of her fiancé, but despite the imminent knife attack, Burnham said that the police should not have shot Fleming and said it was “not fair.”

Burnham also reported that Fleming “had a knife on him. He grabbed me by my hair. He pushed me down to the ground and had a knife telling me he was gonna cut me.” But she also said that the officers “sat there and repeatedly shooting at him. They shouldn’t have did that.”

Yours truly has been working from home for nearly 20 years consecutively. I don't think I would do well returning to an office setting. The Kung Flu is transforming the work world. Many people are joining the ranks of "residential workers".

Remote Work’s Impending Transformation of Middle America

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed a great deal about America and Americans. Most have acquiesced to anything and everything government bureaucrats asked for in the name of public safety. Masks have been donned, churches have been shuttered, and many of us stayed at home for months, working remotely.

This last item may end up being the largest and most permanent transformation of the United States. The mobility that comes with remote work may end up transforming middle America as left-coast technologists migrate inward. Freed from the work-based ties that bind them to Silicon Valley and New York City, they can now easily take their jobs and their left-wing politics to the heartland, ushering in a transformative moment in American politics.

Thomas Edsall, writing for The New York Times, discusses how many from densely populated urban areas on the coasts are finding that remote work enables them to have big city paychecks while living in suburban or rural areas with lower costs of living.

This includes cross-state migration, with Californians fleeing to Texas, and Illinoisans and New Yorkers making tracks for Florida. The relevant paper, “From L.A. to Boise” found that of the 20 largest movements of people from one state to another, 19 were of people moving from blue states to red states.

The ONT regularly quotes, For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. I'm attempting to empathize with the citizens of San Francisco. It isn't happening.

Walgreens has closed 17 stores in Nancy Pelosi’s police-defunded San Francisco due to ‘out of control’ shoplifting

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Thanks to widespread and persistent shoplifting, 17 Walgreens Pharmacy locations have shuttered in San Francisco during the past five years.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, shoplifting did decrease during the coronavirus pandemic, but police also told the news outlet that “incidents are often underreported and have become more violent and brazen.”

San Francisco Supervisor Ahsha Safaí told the San Francisco Chronicle that the situation is “out of control,” adding:

“People are scared to go into these stores — seniors, people with disabilities, children. It’s just happening brazenly.”

For year and years and years the city and its citizens tolerated and encouraged abhorrent behavior expecting peace, love, understanding and unicorns in return. Yes, for every action.........

Never too late to recognize a war hero. Tonight's Feel Good Story of The Day.(CNN Link)

Ralph Puckett Jr. -- a United States Army Ranger who led the defense against six Chinese assaults on a frozen hill in the Korean War -- was presented with America's highest military award, the Medal of Honor, by President Joe Biden on Friday.

Biden said that Puckett's initial reaction to receiving the Medal of Honor was to ask, "Why all the fuss? Can't they just mail it to me?" Biden said that after waiting more than 70 years to be recognized for his heroics, the ceremony was well-deserved.
"Col. Puckett, after 70 years rather than mail it to you I would have walked it to you," Biden said. "Your lifetime of service to our nation I think deserves a little bit of fuss."
On November 25, 1950, the then-first lieutenant led a company of 51 US and nine South Korean soldiers against Chinese forces on what was called Hill 205, according to an award citation from the White House and an oral history given by Puckett.

Some people just rub you wrong the way. As does our Genius Award Winner.

Perhaps one of those NBA headbands would be in order when Angel Schettini appears today in an Illinois courtroom.

The 45-year-old Schettini--who is also known as Alejandro Lopez--is being held on $5000 bond in connection with his arrest for burglary, theft, and possession of burglary tools.

Schettini is locked up in the DuPage County jail in Wheaton, a Chicago suburb.

As seen in the above mug shot, Schettini’s forehead greets all with the message “FUCK YOU.” Prior mug shots show that this ink has been in place for at least 17 years.
