* I'm not saying that always-advancing is some kind of rule in fighting. But I would say that untrained fighters do not advance this way (except when they duck down and try to tackle the opponent, you know, sloppy grappling as an instinctual default) and don't know what to do when someone keeps advancing up in their face throwing punches.
