Federalist Society Ponders Purging All Trump Supporters »
January 19, 2021
Scumbag David French -- Who Was a Desk Jockey on a Short Term in Iraq -- Uses His "Iraq Service" as His Bona Fides for Suggesting a Counterinsurgency Campaign to Separate Trump Supporters from the General Population
He wants to separate "the insurgents" from "the populace"?
Do these guys really want Fallujah America?
I think they do. These Nazi fascists really do want to wage war on Americans.
I've noted this before, but David French always attempts to convey the idea, without explicitly stating it, that he was a combat soldier in Iraq.
When I first heard of him, I thought he was a combat soldier -- because he always talked as if he were on the front lines.
He did very little to disabuse me of that notion.
The closest this pathetic pharisee came to combat was playing flick football with an office mate having a bad case of gas.
If you talk to a real soldier, they always understate their service. When I speak with Kurt Schlicher, and I mention his being in Kosovo, he always immediately says "I never actually saw combat there" even though I didn't actually suggest he had.
But he's that determined to avoid even the whiff of stolen valor. He actually gets tedious with the insistence on denying credit which he is not owed.
I will say this for David French: He sure the fuck isn't tedious in that particular way.
No, if you want to take his words to mean he was leading troops in combat, he's not going to waste any verbiage telling you he wasn't.
So instead you have David French, who processed a lot of AWOLs, talking like Sergeant Rock any chance he gets.
Why doesn't he follow the Schlichter Model and always state, explicitly, that he was not a combat soldier and therefore any of his talk about courage under fire is stuff her heard from other men?
Is it so hard to do?
French always leaves you with this sense that he's talking from personal, on-the-front-lines experience. If I say something about covid, I always have to credit the source. I never leave you with the idea that I am making a statement based on my own inherent medical expertise.
Because that would be insane.
Likewise, French likes to talk about combat on his own personal authority. One searches in frustration for credit-shifting statements like "according to men I know who were on the front lines" or the like.
And he doesn't give you the clear statement that, contrary to the impression he may be giving, he actually was a JAG in the rear with the gear.
And now Sergeant Rock is talking about deploying the counterinsurgency tactics that men who are not named "David French" executed in Iraq.
But remember: he's a man of Great Honor and Unquestionable Character.
And also, maybe, maybe not a combat soldier. Who knows. It's all very vague.
And also, the real "patriots" are the people salivating at the thought of weaponizing the US military against dissident Americans, using deadly force to win Twitter Squabbles.
Of course, this scumbag pharisee is merely repeating the memes of his MSNBC colleague Joy Reid, who proposes (as I predicted a few days ago) the "debaathifcation" of America.
Isn't it terribly strange how often the current and former NR crew finds themselves repeating the exact same claims as made by lunatic MSNBC hosts?
