Here Are Some Facts To Counter The Oceans Of Hysterical Fear-Mongering Fake News About The Wuhan Flu Vaccine

The usual suspects are trying to whip up class resentment over the supposedly unequal and inefficient distribution of the Wuhan Flu vaccine. Regardless of whether you will get the vaccine, here's a bit of actual fact to counter the leftist politics of division. I'll use Pfizer as an example.

Pfizer already has infrastructure in place to distribute medication. It's their only business, and they are successful at it. In fact, on a per dose basis, the vaccine is pretty cheap compared to many pharmaceutical products; they have a clear financial incentive to create distribution channels that are efficient and safe for their sometimes incredibly expensive drugs.

Contrary to the bullshit being flung by the media, the vaccine doesn't require specialized anything. It is intended to be stored at dry ice temperatures. You know, the same temperature at which fancy steaks are shipped.

And as is obvious to anyone with any knowledge of logistics, they will use the existing transportation networks to ship the vaccine. Pfizer calls them "Strategic Transportation Partners." I call them UPS and FedEx.

Oh...Pfizer also built special shipping containers that can double as storage containers at the end user. It's almost as if they know what they are doing and they have done stuff like this before.

Obviously the fake crisis is designed to create chaos, which is the Left's stock in trade. Create the sense that it is every man for himself, and people tend to get upset. Tell the ghetto denizens that they are being left out because they are black or brown or yellow or gay or trans or non-binary or any one of the delightful society-destroying categories that the progressive behemoth has created. Then create a monstrous, expensive, inefficient and second-class system designed by government to solve the non-existent problem!

Here is Pfizer's public information...it's a pretty straightforward distribution plan, although the GPS tracker is sort of cool (Hah!).

We will be utilizing road and air modes of transportation in the United States, where we expect to be able to get product to any POU within a day or two.

We also have developed packaging and storage innovations to be fit for purpose for the range of locations where we believe vaccinations will take place. We have specially designed,temperature-controlled thermal shippers utilizing dry ice to maintain recommended storage temperature conditions of -70°C±10°C for up to 10 days unopened. The intent is to utilize Pfizer-strategic transportation partners to ship by air to major hubs within a country/region and by ground transport to dosing locations.

We will utilize GPS-enabled thermal sensors with a control tower that will track the location and temperature of each vaccine shipment across their pre-set routes, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These GPS-enabled devices will allow Pfizer to proactively prevent unwanted deviations and act before they happen.

Once a POU receives a thermal shipper with our vaccine, they have three options for storage:
- Ultra-low-temperature freezers, which are commercially available and can extend shelf life for up to six months.
- The Pfizer thermal shippers, in which doses will arrive, that can be used as temporary storage units by refilling with dry ice every five days for up to 30 days of storage.
- Refrigeration units that are commonly available in hospitals. The vaccine can be stored for five days at refrigerated 2-8°C conditions.

After storage for up to 30 days in the Pfizer thermal shipper, vaccination centers can transfer the vials to 2-8°C storage conditions for an additional five days, for a total of up to 35 days. Once thawed and stored under 2-8°C conditions, the vials cannot be re-frozen or stored under frozen conditions.

The various storage options at the POU allow for equitable access to the Pfizer vaccine to areas with differing infrastructure.

The vaccine itself is the first of its kind, but the science behind it is mature. In fact, it's just a way to create a monoclonal antibody (remember those from the 1970s?) that's made in the body rather than the lab. And because it is an mRNA-based vaccine, there is no chance of incorporation into DNA.

The vaccine has already been politicized to an obscene extent. I am suspicious of the convenient timing of the announcement of successful trials. I am very suspicious of government flacks already hinting of mandatory use. But I am not suspicious of the vaccine and the science behind it.
