Sparse Crowds, Little Enthusiasm For Sundown Joe's Copycat Trip to Kenosha

Deb Heine at American Greatness:

There was no crowd of supporters to greet Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden at the airport when he arrived in the battleground state of Wisconsin, Thursday, and as of 1:00 p.m., no crowd (other than his MSM supporters) had formed on the streets or in front of the Kenosha church where he was expected at 2:00 p.m. to hold a community event.

The former vice president and his wife Jill Biden arrived at a Milwaukee airport about 11:40 a.m. to little fanfare. The Bidens met privately with relatives of Jacob Blake, the accused rapist who was shot in the back by Kenosha police while he was resisting arrest. The shooting occurred on August 23, as police were attempting to arrest him for violating a restraining order stemming from the alleged sexual assault.

Since Dr. Guy P. Benson is not just an Instant Twitter Expert in virology, but has advanced degrees in Optics, I wonder if he will ever comment on the Optics of Joe Biden, who was accused of forcible sexual assault by digital penetration, meeting with another guy accused of forcible sexual assault by digital penetration, or nah?

Correction: Gnu-breed says I'm conflating Jacob Blake, Sr., the anti-semitic conspiracy theorist, with Jacob Blake, Jr., the forcible penetrator.

Apologies for the error. I didn't realize the antisemitic posts belonged to the father, not to the bullet-sponge son.

...

Biden dropped this race-baiting lie:

@BreitbartNews

"People fear that's, which, that which is different. We gotta, for example, why in God's name don't we teach history in history classes? A black man invented the light bulb, not a white guy named Edison." @JoeBiden spreads a false meme:

https://tinyurl.com/y2ld8n3a

How do I know this is a lie?

Simple: there is lore in my own family that my great grandfather was the one who really invented the light bulb, and he wasn't black.

So I've looked into this before. The thing is, everyone knew the basics of how to make a lightbulb: Take a resister which will glow (and heat up) when electricity is passed through it, and run electricity through it.

Edison had already invented that -- which was "the first lightbulb." But his first iteration of the lightbulb was not commercially viable. It worked as a lightbulb, but not for long before it burned out, and not well until then.

There was a race to refine the right exact way to do this. There was a tension between two valuable properties: that the light be strong, and that the lightbulb last more than a couple of days.

Some filaments glowed intensely, but broke quickly, some after just hours of use.

Some lasted a while but didn't resist much electricity and so didn't produce much light.

Edison had about 30 people working around the clock attempting small variations: Now you try horsehair covered in glass as a filament. Now you try copper. Etc.

So there were 30 people always tinkering on Variation A filament plus Variation 6 bulb, etc. They were largely following a protocol of trial and error.

And the first lightbulbs produced were bad-- they had to be refined further, after production was started.

So the point is, a lot of people can claim that they worked, at one time, on what would become the "first lightbulb."

And a lot of people have claimed it.

But it was all just trial and error in a lab set up by Edison involving small variations and refinements to a few basic schemes.

When people make these claims of having been the one who really made the "first lightbulb," they're either wrong or lying. Edison made the first lighbulb. The technicians were employed to make the first commercially viable variation of the lightbulb edison already invented.

And this is again race-baiting by a senile old fuck and credibly accused r@pist.

We are currently on the edge of a race war, and this senile r@pist throws more gasoline on to the racial fire just to get some campaign buzz and gin up enthusiasm from Burn Loot Murder.

How many cities are the Democrats willing to burn to the ground for their GOTV efforts?

BTW, for anyone wondering "What about the partial vacuum inside a lightbulb" -- I don't know when they made that refinement, so I don't know if that would be part of the claimed "first (commercially viable) lightbulb."
