NFL Will Allow Names of Those Killed by Police on Helmets
#Woke.
Will players be allowed to put the names of victims of Burn, Loot, Murder, like David Dorn on their helmets?
How about the names of victims of antifa, such as Aaron Danielson, executed in the street by an anitfa assasin?
How about any of the victims of black racist murders? How about Cannon Hinnant? Will the #NFL allow players to #SayHisName or nah?
How about the unidentified (surely to protect him from reprisals) AutoZone worker stabbed by a racist black killer who went hunting a white person to kill after getting amped up on the constant agitation against white people by the media?
Mills told the court that when he hostaett why he stabbed the AutoZone employee, hostaett said he "felt the need to find a white male to kill" after watching videos of police brutality happening across the country.
Should we cool off with this constant incitement to Racist Vengeance against whites or should we have even more racist incitement to murder?
The NFL says: More incitement to racist murder, please.
The thick white band at the rear base of an NFL helmet is known as the helmet padding and, up until now, has been a rather innocuous area of the helmet where the team name is normally displayed.
Well, that's about to change.
According to a report via Pro Football Talk, a source with knowledge of the situation says that the NFL will allow players to display the names of those killed in officer-involved altercations on the helmet padding.
"The names of specific persons will be easy to see when TV cameras capture close-up images of players on the field," Pro Football Talk reports. "The names will come from an approved list, with names like George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery among the possibilities."
Will the criminal Jacob Blake, accused of sexually assaulting a 15 year old, have his name on the approved list?
That might complicate the NFL's attempts to virtue signal to women, huh?
Boycott it. Burn it down.
#WalkAway.
Let's hope this works out for the NFL as well as it has for the NBA.
"Americans have been falling progressively out of love with the NBA, for instance, and the pandemic has only exacerbated an already difficult situation," the report says. "TV ratings, mediocre after the season restarted, are down collectively by 40 percent on the TNT network, and 20 percent on ESPN, since their peak nearly a decade ago."
The report noted that the NBA's "network TV premium broadcasts ratings on ABC are off by 45 percent," which “a former public relations executive for the NBA describes as a 'cratering' of viewership," per The Athletic.
...
As part of a racial justice initiative, NBA players have also been allowed to display a "social justice" word or phrase, selected from an approved list, on the back of their jerseys instead of their last names.
The approved list includes "Anti-Racist," "Ally," "Say Her Name," "I Can't Breathe," "Enough," "Black Lives Matter," and "How Many More."
"The lockdown will cost the NBA at least $1 billion in revenue, and an MLB study earlier this year projected a potential revenue decline of $4 billion from the shortened season," City Journal noted. "And the poor TV ratings suggest that many sports viewers have missed watching NBA games less than the league might have anticipated."
Even the NHL decided to briefly go on strike, in solidarity with their woke friends the NBA.
Only the NHL went on strike as the NBA was coming off it.
So they're out, too.
If these #WokeSissies don't feel obliged to show up to play the games, no American should feel any obligation to watch them.
