First-World Problems...Part Deux...The Advantages Of Social Distancing

There are gems hidden in this social experiment cum economic disaster that we are currently immersed in. The best part of course is that it is now perfectly acceptable to look at someone in a store or on the street and say, "Get the fvck away from me," something that many of us have wanted to do for most of our lives but were constrained by convention.

And I must admit that it is a pleasure to see so many more people taking leisurely strolls around my little town...some alone, some with wives or husbands, and many with children and dogs in tow. We make it a point to say hello to everyone we pass, and it is a sad reflection of our times that some people seem startled by that simple bit of humanity. But it is balanced by those who smile and wave and say something silly and chipper and upbeat.

So...what is better about this temporary dislocation?

The usual prize, A one year Platinum Membership with Troll-B-Gon^TM and ampersand utility for the best ones, or at least the most revealing and embarrassing ones!
