Our Precious Democracy: A Continuing Eulogy

So this is a strange spectacle.

A lunatic leftist woman -- is there any other kind? -- is dressed and adorned to Avert the Male Gaze. She's bald as a river stone and she's dressed in leather jacket.

She starts screaming a primal rage roar/cry directly into the faces of what are being reported as Trump supporters, who are just standing around peacefully.

This is the sort of behavior that would have gotten you arrested and taken in for a psychiatric screening and 24 hour hold twenty years ago. But an important part of the leftist coalition is the mentally ill constituency -- neurotics, hysterics, basket-case losers, adult women "casting spells of binding" on Trump, men who think they're women and claim they need tampons.

And so they have normalized -- sanitized (as in "made to be considered sane") -- behavior that is quite obviously mentally disordered.

They have valorized it. They have made it something to be proud of.

And so, people being what they are, egotistical and searching for some way to convince themselves they are worthy, many weak and pathetic individuals have made themselves act insane for the... social status it now confers.

Leftists and the institutions they dominate -- the media and, most important of all, what was formerly called the academy -- have turned insanity into a marker of high social status and thus like any other mark of prestige, something to be cultivated and shown off.

Hence, this hysterical woman with self-inflicted apostatic coloration screaming like a lunatic at people peacefully talking on a street.

And, weirdly, the person who gets into that hysterical bald woman's face is a... Trump supporting drag queen, I guess, because it's Current Year.
