So the laundry machine dies AFTER Black Friday & Cyber Monday.
I had good luck fixing the dryer last year. A little intertube research told me to check a fuse on the motor control board. Bingo, fuse is blown. Unfortunately, if fuse is blown, that means the board was blown and the motor was blown (what exactly is the purpose of that fuse? I guess it prevents a full core meltdown?) Bought a $250 motor control board second hand for 50 bucks, a new motor, and an hour of DIY later, dryer is working like a champ.
But the laundry machine was stumping me. Couldn't find the problem, so off to Lowe's I went.
Lucky me, they had extended their Cyber sale, and I was able to give me Wife 4 options in our budget.
I went ahead and got the extended warranty, because if this is anything like the last fridge I bought, I'll need it.
Everything these days breaks so easily.
