Supreme Court Will Hear Arguments on Whether Democrats and the Democrat-Controlled SDNY (Where James Comey's Daughter Works!) Can Demand Trump's Private Tax Information

This is a win, not overall, but at least it's a win in that it's not a loss.

The Supreme Court refusing to hear the case, and letting the rulings by Lower Hawaiian Courts stand, would have been a total loss.

A commenter said they'd probably hear arguments in March. A ruling would come later, deep in election season.

The justices are poised to issue decisions in June, amid Trump's bid for a second term. Rulings against the president could result in the quick release of personal financial information that Trump has sought strenuously to keep private. The court will also decide whether the Manhattan district attorney can obtain eight years of Trump's tax returns as part of an ongoing criminal investigation.

Oh, and when I said that James Comey's daughter was a prosecutor in the Democrat Advocacy Organization the Southern District of NY? I wasn't kidding.

But at least there's no reason to suspect her of anything nefarious.
