Ilhan Omar in 2012: "why don't we deport you to where ever you came from"
For some reason, I suspect the media will take a more nuanced view of this particular Racist Tweet.
It's nicely ungrammatical and scarcely literate, which just shows how very American she is.
And progressive activists pretending to be journalists keep claiming that it's been "debunked" that she married her brother, though no one seems able to cite the evidence that supposedly "debunks" this.
Media outlets scrambled to prove false the accusation that Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) married her brother after President Donald Trump mentioned it, but none have been able to definitively reach an answer, largely due to Omar's unwillingness to provide information.
...
CNN's Jim Acosta jumped in immediately to criticize Trump for diving in on "disgusting lies." The Daily Beast‘s Will Sommer published a lengthy piece on Friday that did little to nothing to debunk what he calls a "baseless smear."
The closest thing to evidence against the claim presented in Sommer's piece is a reference to a time Omar showed a Star Tribune reporter pictures on her cell phone of immigration documents with a list of members of her family. Sommer's piece fails to mention that Omar declined to provide copies of any of the documents to the reporter or allow him to make record of the information he was briefly allowed to view.
Omar didn't respond to requests for comment from the Daily Beast. Her congressional office currently is alerting reporters through auto-reply that it's not responding to press inquiries, including one from the Free Beacon, into whether any other outlets have been shown documents Omar purports to be evidence against the claim she married her brother.
Meanwhile:
Robert Plant has thoughts.
Oh, and humorous scold "journalists" are trying to get another product deplatformed/suppressed because of a message they don't like.
These shorts say "Fake News" on them. And the media, which itself started the "Fake news" meme to attack its enemies, now think it's hate speech because it mostly gets used about their very, very fake news.
She'll claim she has special license to be outraged, because she worked at the Capital Gazette, the newsroom shot up by a maniac.
But the claim that that had something to do with the fake news meme is itself fake news, furiously pushed by a media that wants to be seen as either hero or martyr: the shooter there was not politically motivated, but personally motivated, about a story he claimed was defamatory and had been stalking and threatening them since 2011.
And one more:
