Green, Carbon-Neutral, Eco-Friendly? My Ass!

I like the idea of going on the offense! Attack these neo-Luddites at every opportunity. Point out how incredibly destructive their so-called green energy projects are! They waste fuel, kill birds, destroy America's grand vistas, take up huge amounts of land (who wants a solar panel array in their backyards?), and decrease our access to the marvels of a free-market economy and Western technology.

Personally, as I have ranted in the past, the perfect energy plan is to build about 100 standardized nuclear power plants while technology advances in battery development and other market-based answers to future energy challenges.

The good news is that we are flush with clean-burning natural gas, thanks to the wonders of fracking, so we have plenty of time to perfect other energy sources. Hell, oil is damned clean too! There are many more cars in America today than compared to my youth in the 19-mumble-mumble-mumble, and they are better, faster, safer and more comfortable, all while polluting at a mere fraction of their predecessors. In fact. America is much, much cleaner and less polluted than it was just a generation or two ago, and I fully expect that trend to continue!

The free market can do anything when it is allowed to....so our job as conservatives is to unleash that power and reap the benefits!

And drink good whiskey. And eat rare steaks. And hit the X when we shoot.
