The Morning Rant: J.V. Edition
There's some raw meat below the fold, but this made me chuckle. And the responses are just as funny. So for today, I hope the spittle flecking your screens is from laughter...

Tenn. man accused of pulling gun on people wearing MAGA hats
Pierce tells 13 News that he was shopping with his wife when Phillips "Pulled a .40 caliber out and stuck it in my face, backed up and said, 'It's a good day for you to die.'"
Pierce went on to tell 13 News, "I said, 'Then pull the trigger. Put the gun down and fight me or pull the trigger. Whichever one you want.' And he backed up and he said it again, he said, 'It's a good day for you to die.'"
JJ Sefton covered this story already, but that quotation is just too good!

******This is a 14-year-old story. And it refers to an obscene expenditure 15 years before that, so let us not pretend; there has been a border crisis in this country for a very long time. The uncountable billions of dollars spent on illegals over the last two generations could have been spent on Americans, or even better...not taken in taxes in the first place.
Spared as children -- then cut loose: The state paid for two illegal immigrants' new livers. They need organs again, but it's a different story at 21.
Ana Puente was an infant with a liver disorder when her aunt brought her illegally to the U.S. to seek medical care. She underwent two liver transplants at UCLA Medical Center as a child in 1989 and a third in 1998, each paid for by the state.
I am confident that the little loophole has been fixed, and these illegals are getting new livers and hearts and other expensive medical care that crowds out the very people who paid for it...American citizens.
We cannot be the world's policeman, and we cannot be the world's hospital. Call me a racist, call me a nationalist, call me whatever you wish...I don't care. This is wrong, it is not moral, and it is unsustainable. A 22 trillion dollar national debt would seem to demonstrate that last point rather conclusively.
