The Morning Report - 1/17/19

Good morning kids. Thursday and before we get to the continuing meshugas of the border wall and government shutdown theatrics, the FBI announced the arrest of a man who had evidently been plotting a terrorist attack using explosives on the White House. See if you can guess his origins and religious affiliation. And as a sad postscript to yesterday's terrorist attack in Nairobi, one of the victims was an American Jew who survived the 9/11/01 attack. Prayers for all the victims and eternal damnation for the perpetrators and all those who support them, openly or otherwise.

Now, back to the meshugas. Despite all the efforts of the Democrat-Media-Complex to make you think otherwise, the Democrats are losing big time on both the border wall and the absolute disaster that is our immigration policies and the concomitant government shutdown theatre, which as each day goes by sees more and more people coming to that very realization that it is total bullshit, has zero effect on their lives and, more importantly, that they can do very well indeed without it. It seems that House Dems are now openly breaking with Bo-Toxic Female Nancy Palsi Pelosi on this including most significantly her number 2, Steny Hoyer. Rush Limbaugh also played a delicious soundbite of Cuck Schemer in the well of the Senate putting his foot all the way up to his pasty, spider-veined calf in his mouth with this gem:

SCHUMER: Why is our country suffering self-inflicted damage? Because President Trump is using the American government as leverage in an attempt to extract taxpayer money for a border wall he promised Mexico would pay for.

RUSH: See?

SCHUMER: You know, I hear Rush Limbaugh. "He promised this in the campaign." No, he didn't. He promised a wall that Mexico would pay for. He never said once, that I can recall, in the campaign, "But if Mexico doesn't pay for it, we'll pay for it.' Of course, people voted for it! (pause) Or some. (pause) Not that many.

RUSH: See? He caught himself. He stepped in it so big at the end. "Of course, people voted for it," meaning: It's the epitome of common sense to stop illegal immigration. "Of course, people voted for it." Schumer knows the drill. He knows why people voted for Trump...

Limbaugh was discussing the idiotic straw-man argument that the wall is illegitimate, shouldn't be funded, etc. because Trump promised Mexico would pay for it but he states, and rightly so, that it was Trump tweaking the media on the campaign trail exactly the way he encouraged Russia to look for Hillary's 30,000 e-mails - a joke that the Deep State and Media cite as treason and a reason for impeachment. But that's neither here nor there. The salient point is, as Schemer himself said, the American people voted for a border wall, border security and an end to the dissolution of our nation via unchecked engineered mass migration.

And as the Democrats shamble, mumble and fall apart on this, the GOP Freedom Caucus used their time on the podium to underscore the need to secure our borders. Highlights include freshman Rep Chip Roy from Texas (of course) in his first speech at the podium. Also, Daniel Greenfield highlights the other front of the immigration disaster and that is the importation of the cancer that is the space-rock-pedophile-death-cultists, highlighting the child-bride insanity.

And that dovetails nicely into the Democrat Scandal Sheet where we look at the lovely and gracious freshman Rep Ilhan Omar, the one who was elected despite defrauding the government by lying about marrying her brother to get in to the country. But we should give her a pass for all her stellar work on exposing the evil Jooz and how they stole the wonderful land of Palestine (which is only a town in Texas). Also, CAIR that wonderful humanitarian organization that supports the Democrat Party has one of its officials in bed with Hamas. Lastly, a non-I-KEEEEL-YOU item where Ben Rhodes and Susan Rice have allegedly been subpoenaed to testify about Benghazi. Didn't Ben Ghazi and Al Leppo star in a 60s TV show? Or was that Ben Gazzara and Al Lewis? Charlie Gibson might know.

Shutdown Theatre: Trump has signed a bipartisan bill guaranteeing backpay to furloughed bureaucrats (I'd've preferred RIF-ing them entirely) and a couple of good links about not falling for their crocodile tears, Nancy Palsi will bar Trump from the House for the State of the Union which to me is an opportunity to avoid the Code Pinkos and the other assorted freaks to speak directly to the people at some other venue. Meanwhile, as the Senate Dems refuse to see real citizen victims of illegal alien crime, they attend a rally for the bureaucrats who help enact all the evil Socialist edicts they can't pass in Congress, and Loopy-Ocasio-TacoRosado and a few other freshman children attempt to corner Cocaine Mitch and fail miserably.

Elsewhere in politics, Democrat 2020 hopefuls turn a hearing into a total shitshow over climate change, the rap sheet on Kamala-Toe, Kirstin Jello-Brain flops harder than a 1-ton tuna on the deck of a pitching trawler, Kris Kobach on how Dems now acknowledge voter fraud vis a vis a still undecided North Carolina race, this NY public advocate is a real czar-maker, Mitt Romney is a "frosted Flake" (get it?), two good essays on what the Democrat-Left is all about and the great Victor Davis Hanson is optimistic about Trump in 2020.

First Amendment, Fake News Fakery and Censorship: Google's Sundar Pichai definitely lied to Congress about censorship, Google hates "family," Newsweek's Nina Burleigh is bucking for Helen Thomas status, Pakistan's blasphemy laws trump the First Amendment, how the media actually helped Trump in '16 and what to watch out for in '20, and the 121-year-old Yiddish paper The Forward ceases publishing. I will not be saying kaddish.

Mueller-gate: George Papadopoulos says the FBI wanted him to spy on this Joseph Mifsud character (is he still missing?), Senate Intel Chair Richard Burr will not be going after Trump's interpreters, Mueller will not have anything when it's all said and done and Sebastian Gorka has the right idea about the FBI.

Guns: While we're all distracted with the border, Pittsburgh is looking to "steeler" your guns (cue Rothelisberger cap lock comments) and a Federalist piece on 2 Dem gun bills that need to be killed.

Foreign Desk: Iran is huffing and puffing about a spy the FBI nabbed, the EU tells Theresa May to make them a Belgian waffle sammich and kill Brexit, PDT supposedly gave Israel the green light to steal Iran's nuke files, Israel's ambassador slaps Mahmoud Abbas upside the head with a krav-maga truth slap, the DIA uncovers the obvious about PLA/Chi-Com intentions, another Trump shredding of an Obama policy wherein Cuba can now be sued for seized US assets, asylum for the Saudi apostate teen is good but what about Christians in Pakistan, and with 4 US servicemen killed in a Syrian suicide blast, is ISIS really defeated there?

Domestic News: Ben Sasse does some good for a change with a bill to corner the Dems on the anti-Catholic bent vis a vis the Knights of Columbus and nominees affiliated with same, Gavin Nuisance is now ready to tax drinking water which the Left there claimed was a human right or something, the DC mayor shows signs of sanity by vetoing the bill decriminalizing Metro fare evasion, 25 years after NAFTA and the destruction it wrought (I thought we ditched that?), Dem wage hike proposal will kill jobs and IBD shreds the Dem-pimped 70% tax rate insanity.

Church Sex Abuse Scandal: The Pope smokes dope.

Healthcare: Ohio fires doctor who nearly euthanized 30 near-death patients with fentanyl overdoses (oh, Mr. Kasich?), and Oregon's proposed new law is truly Orwellian in every sense of that word.

Red-Greens: Law school funded by the Tiny Tyrant Doomberg is evidently colluding with the Blue State AG's about the climate change law-fare suits, which is totally not kosher at all.

FemiNazism: Denver Women's March tries covering up the leadership of the rogue Secret Service agent who hoped Trump took a bullet, Gillette's disastrous anti-male ad was - surprise! - crafted by feminazis, and the ad manages to wax nostalgic about men that the SJWs have actually destroyed.
