Maybe Kashoggi Wasn't The Saintly Journalist That The NeverTrumpers Would Like Us To Believe

Kashoggi was an anti-American, anti-Israeli, terror sympathizer. I have a difficult time getting exercised about his murder. So discovering that he was very possibly a tool of Qatar* is even more reason not to care.

What does upset me is the stupidity and ham-handedness of the Saudi security apparatus. It was idiotic in the extreme to kill him in such a public way...one that was almost guaranteed to be exposed.

I am under no illusions that this has never happened before. Murder and torture have been in every country's toolkit since the first political structures were created, so the lamentations from the Left are disingenuous in the extreme. I guess if he had been droned on the way to a wedding, like Obama used to prefer, it would have been perfectly alright...

*Speaking of Qatar, a former casual friend-of-the-blog, one who looks amazingly like the head of a penis, is happily taking their money. I wonder why?

He seems quite comfortable with Islamists and Democrats. Why, if I didn't know better, I would think that he was following the money, and not any coherent political philosophy.
