Pretty remarkable story. Gotta love a guy who gets shot in the thigh, looks down, thinks “No arterial blood, I better run, the Rebs are coming”. Wounded five times, he survived the war and went on to raise a family and live a full life. Sounds like he lived through hell on Earth during the second and third day's battle, however.

Here is the always entertaining Larry Correia on the Congressman who said the govt. would nuke gun owners if they didn't turn in their weapons. The whole thing is well written and enjoyable, but I especially liked this part:

Seems pretty accurate to me. I don't want it to happen. In fact, I'd give just about anything to prevent Civil War 2.0 from breaking out. But if it does....fuck you. War.
