The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

Of course, if true, it’s HUGE. Kavanaugh’s demeanor when drunk in college sounds nearly as awful as liberals’ behavior when sober — obnoxious, aggressive and argumentative. I refer you to the recent antics we’ve seen on Capitol Hill, as well as anywhere Ted Cruz stops in for a bite. Ann Coulter

Quote II

"President Trump was not the person I wanted to become the nominee of our party, but he's president now. The policies he's promoted have been pretty effective. And I support a lot of those policies. When there's a place where I disagree, I point that out," Mitt Romney

Quote III

'And now in my adult life, in my relationships, it's a way for me to feel vulnerable and exposed and close to my partner. It's a very intimate thing.

'Imagine if the easiest way to delight your partner is you just throw a ball across the room. Relationships wouldn't fail anymore if that's all you had to do. Tony McGinn

A true WTF story.

Not just a Moron. But an honest to goodness 'Deplorable' reporter. Salty Dawg and his experience at a recent Trump rally.

Guest post by reader NaCly Dog

What I Saw at the Trump Rally in Topeka, Kansas

We saw little traffic until we got to the parking lot. We saw one protester, but we were three hours early. 20,000 people downloaded tickets for 10,000 seats in the Kansas Expo Center. We drove past all the other cars, with mostly Kansas and Missouri plates. There was a Cannabis II label on an old-style camper bus with marijuana leaf stickers, and libertarian and Leftist slogans, with a Colorado tag. Some Texas and Oklahoma plates were seen as well.

Arizona senatorial candidate Kyrsten Sinema claims she is a moderate. The truth is, she isn't.

The Communist Party USA is involved in campaigning on behalf of U.S. Senate candidate Kyrsten Sinema, a Democrat from Arizona.

According to Joelle Fishman, head of the Communist Party’s powerful Political Action Commission, the party has injected itself into races “in two states where a Republican seat can be flipped: AZ (Flake open), TX (Cruz).”

25 reasons I'm not a democrat.

There are a lot of reasons I’m not a Democrat. For example, I believe that…

1. Jesus, America, and capitalism have been the three greatest forces of good in world history.

2. An attractive woman posing with an AR-15 beats a screaming feminist in a pussy hat 10 times out of 10.

3. You can’t #believeallwomen or #believeallmen; you have to #believetheevidence.

The phrase, "Rub a little dirt on it" was meant for playground boo-boos. Not accidents with 737s.

Flight 611 was about halfway to Dubai when it turned around and headed back to India in what the airline would later call “a precautionary measure.”

The plane landed in Mumbai about four hours after takeoff, according to Air India’s statement. The passengers — all apparently uninjured — were routed onto other flights, and crew began to inspect the plane.

As seen in photos published by Indian journalists, the exterior casing along the bottom of the 737′s fuselage had been torn open like a flesh wound. Scrapes, dings, exposed framework and broken bits covered the plane’s underside.

Too skinny for our television?

The United Kingdom has banned an advertisement featuring a thin model after some viewers called it “socially irresponsible.”
Three television advertisements have been banned in the United Kingdom have been banned after viewers complained that they utilized an “unhealthily thin” model. The ad, which was for U.K. clothing retailer Nasty Gal, featured a model with a BMI of 18.8. For reference, the BMI scale ranges from 9-50. All BMIs between 25 and 50 are considered “overweight.” In August, plus-size model Tess Holliday (who reportedly weighs 280 pounds and stands at five foot, four inches) graced the cover of the U.K. edition of Cosmpolitan. Holliday, who was largely celebrated for the cover, has an approximate BMI of 48.1.

On October 17th Canada legalizes marijuana. Everything you wanted to know about purchasing pot in Canada.

Canada will become the first G7 country to legalize recreational marijuana nationwide tomorrow (Oct. 17). In the months leading up to this landmark move, cannabis companies have closed hundred-million-dollar deals, pot stocks have soared, and even Coca-Cola has announced it’s looking to invest in the weed industry.

Different provinces and territories, however, have their own rules on how Canadians can buy or consume weed. For instance, the legal age to purchase cannabis is 19 everywhere except for Alberta and Quebec, where you can be 18. Other points of variation include possession limits, where people are allowed to smoke, and whether or not pot will be sold by private retailers or government-run stores
