Is Mazie Hirono A Key Part of the Democrats' "Strategy" to Defeat Kavanaugh?

Hirono asked Kavanaugh, out of the blue and with no underlying predicate, if he had ever touched someone in an unwanted way, back on September 5th, back before the Democrats began leaking information about this accuser on her own personal No-Fly List.

Asked why she'd asked those questions of Kavanaugh, she claimed, falsely, that they were standard questions she asked of ever would-be Justice.

That's a lie; she didn't ask them of Gorsuch.

So why did she ask them? And how many people are part of this "strategy"?
