Did Blasey Ford's Advisor Rikki Seidman Tease Their "Strategy" for Borking Kavanaugh In July?
Strange that so many question so much about Ford's claims -- why she never told anyone about this until this year (she mentioned an assault in 2012, we're told, but did not name Kavanaugh), why she's now afraid to fly, why the endless delays and gamesmanship with format, etc. -- but the NeverTrumpers have decided that it's verboten for Trump to ask a related question, "Why did she never talk to police?"
Matter of fact, she could make a report to police right now, Twitter Lore has it. According to Twitter experts, there is no statute of limitations in Maryland for attempted rape.
Eh. Maybe she doesn't want to fly to Maryland for it.
Anyway, the GOP put out this video of Blasey Ford's "adviser" Rikki Seidman talking up a coming "strategy" which could peel off two of Kavanugh's female supporters, Collins and Murkowski.
"While I think at the outset, looking at the numbers in the Senate, it’s not extremely likely that the nominee can be defeated. I would absolutely withhold judgement as the process goes on. I think that I would not reach any conclusion about the outcome in advance," Seidman says in the recording.
Was she teasing a post-hearing surprise that was triggered by Sen. Dianne Feinstein?
Seidman speculated that Kavanaugh was chosen prior to Justice Anthony Kennedy announcing his retirement, and that liberal groups -- who would oppose any Trump nominee -- were caught flat-footed.
"Over the coming days and weeks," Seidman says in the recording that seems to have occurred shortly after Kavanaugh's announcement, "there will be a strategy that will emerge, and I think it's possible that that strategy might ultimately defeat the nominee."
Hmmm... wonder what she had in mind, huh?
Is this okay for the GOP to release? Or is this an unconscionable attack on the credibility someone we're going to assume is a victim despite the lack of any evidence to establish she is a victim?
Does it all just come down to whether Trump said it, or whether someone else said it?
