The Morning Report 9/10/18

Good morning kids. L'shana tovah and a happy new year of 5779 to members of tribe and all the good gentle gentiles here at the HQ. With that out of the way, a new week is upon us and there's lots to cover so let's get to it.

Right up front, I want to start with the economy, because the Democrat-Left-Media complex who will ignore, embargo, bury it or otherwise lie about it can't escape the truth as evidenced by our lead link. And yet, ex-Prezd'nt Kenya Kona Blend who had the unmitigated temerity to claim that the economic miracle we are experiencing is a result of his 8 year Reign of Error. Considering that for virtually all of that time as he implemented policies that spit-roasted the Golden Goose, he told America to lie back and enjoy it as the days of prosperity and the American Dream were over. Funny how now that we are 18 months into a spurt of growth that is breaking records he attempts to do a victory lap. Mark Levin "rectifies his delusions" on this and all his other bullshit from Friday point by point.

The left can rage, flail and scream all they want but there's just no getting around the fact that day by day since this President was inaugurated on that wonderful January day in 2017, paychecks are getting fatter, "Now Hiring" signs are popping up everywhere and a sense of real hope for a better future for ourselves and our kids is visceral across a broad spectrum of the populace. And this has gots the Dems scared out of their minds as we head towards the homestretch into the midterms. More on that in a moment, but on to our lead topics which are holdovers from Friday.

First up, the White House is reportedly closing in on the anonymous saboteur who penned that puerile op-ed in the NY Times, and as the net tightens Dem Senator Chris Coons has called on the deviant in question to resign and come forward. Either he thinks the author is a courageous patriot who deserves to be at the forefront of the resistance or he thinks the op-ed was a disastrous fiasco, especially given its dissonance when compared to the economy outlined above.

Right up there we also have the equally disastrous fiasco of the attempted high-tech lynching of Brett Kavanaugh. All it did was to expose a couple of the Democrats 2020 presidential hopefuls as ridiculous, inept clowns. Worst of the bunch was Cory Booker, the closet(ed) organizer from New Jersey. Daniel Greenfield notes the swiping of lines directly from vicious anti-semite and racialist Stokely Carmichael. And of course Nancy Palsi's dentures clattered out the "put y'all back in chains" dreck should Kavanaugh be confirmed. Meh, the whole thing's pathetic if not instructive. Also, a considerable sum of money has been raised in an effort to threaten Susan Collins into voting no. Looks like extortion to me, but I'm no legal eagle. Lastly, the Dems are right to be going crazy about this nomination since much of their ability to institute policy is via hacks-in-black who declare that which is unconstitutional, illegal and contra the will of the people totes kosher. I can't wait until a batch of bad kale and/or a 5 pound box of See's truffles means one or two more hearings in the next 6 and a half years (please G-d).

And all of this dovetails nicely into the realm of politics where Ben Sasse is an ass, Claire McAssKill's future hangs in the balance with the Kavanaugh vote, this Sean Casten in Illinois is a punk, more analysis of the 2020 Dem hopefuls and yes despite all the good news since January 2017, we all still have to get out and vote this November. As a way to give us all an "ootz" I give you the Mayor of Atlanta who is the latest to refuse to cooperate with ICE. Time to Holder-ize her police department and toss her ass in jail for insurrection.

Speaking of insurrection, in Mewler-gate news, PDT may be close to declassifying the Carter Page and Bruce Ohr documents, Maria Butina got mishandled (not mist-handled) by prosecutors and PDT is on point about the Deep State and the effort to sabotage his agenda. Lastly, the danger posed by the New York courts to Trump and his family.

On the international front, PDT sends a conciliatory message to Whoa, Fat! noting the absence of nuclear missiles at a NorK parade, the Chi-Coms are pissed about PDT punishing nations for abandoning Taiwan, with the anniversary of 9/11 tomorrow we're still involved in Iraq, Afghanistan and now Syria, and the 25th anniversary of the Oslo Accords reminds us of how Yasser Arafat successfully convinced the Palestinians to renounce "tourism in all its forms." Feh.

A mixed bag of domestic stories, Illinois taxpayers are getting a sizable chunk of change back thanks to the PDT tax cuts, Connecticut workers are suing the SEIU for back dues (thank you, Janus), Leftists want to rewrite the Alamo, a Latino NYC principal wants to say no to "the Juice" at his school, the EPA has lost 1,200 jobs (aww), and Sandra Fluke is kicking herself for missing a Royal Navy shore leave in Florida.

From hither and yon, CBS is less one Moonves, even Tubby Riefenstahl thinks Camera Hogg's a jerk, John Kerry is clueless, two good pieces about Kaepernick including a Gold Star mom challenging him to meet her at her son's grave, and lastly an essay on Serena Williams revolting display at the US Open. It just crystallizes in so many ways how our society went off the rails starting in the 60s and really at warp speed within the last 20 years or so.
