The Morning Report 5/7/18

Good morning kids. Start of a new week and in the lead is the revelation that ex-Secretary of State John Kerry has been actively lobbying foreign governments in clear violation of the Logan Act to try and save the Iran Nuke Deal Sellout. For those of you to young to remember or simply unaware because of the Media's complete whitewashing of John Kerry's "colorful" almost 50-year history of lying, anti-Americanism and coming within a nether hair's width of sedition, you can read his entire dossier at Discover the Networks. But, in light of his activities vis a vis the Iran Deal, this is not new territory for the gold-digging, pseudo-intellectual, preening Lefty stooge:

In the summer of 1971, Kerry traveled to Paris to discuss with North Vietnamese and Viet Cong delegations the conditions under which they might agree to release U.S. prisoners of war. This particular act of private diplomacy was likely a violation of the so-called Logan Act, which states:

"Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both."

Funny how Democrats over the years have found themselves parlaying with America's enemies in order to undermine their own country. From Joseph Kennedy siding with Hitler whilst ambassador to the court of St. James, to son Teddy Kennedy secretly meeting with Yuri Andropov to plot how to sabotage then President Reagan's Strategic Defense Initiative to Baghdad Jim McDermott taking sides with Saddam Hussein in the run up to Gulf War 2 and on and on. And don't get me started on Jane Fonda.

Daniel Greenfield is 100% right. John Kerry should be immediately arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Of course, it would help immensely if we didn't have a legal system, judiciary and elected officials that are thoroughly corrupted and sworn to protect the Deep Staters who openly lord over us. Just ask Scooter Libby, Mike Flynn or Michael Caputo. In related news, Dinesh D'Souza is rightfully enraged at how Rosie O'Donuts has egregiously broken campaign contribution laws by orders of magnitude worse than he had been sent to jail for, and yet the fat, sack of bile still waddles the streets free as a bird. Of course, it didn't help D'Souza that Obama-led DoJ persecuted him because he was an effective critic of the regime and had to be silenced. Revolutions have been fought for much less than this. BTW, sorry for quoting Karl Marx above, but it is oddly appropriate.

Moving right along to the somewhat related Mueller witch hunt, the big news is Devin Nunes has now had enough of Sooper Secret Sleeper Agent Jeff Sessionszzz and is now ready to hold him in contempt of Congress for the continued stonewalling of the DoJ by ignoring subpoenas. We also have several links about Rudy Giuliani's performance last week vis a vis the revelation of the Stormy Daniels payoff. Note that those who ignited their hair were premature.

On the amnesty front, it's really the bureaucracy that is to blame for what's going on with that Caravan and other related meshugas. The President remains on message and committed to stopping the insanity and getting the wall built. Whether it's this caravan, illegal aliens or importing foreign workers, more and more people who were not necessarily Trump supporters are lining up behind him on this issue, which really is the most crucial one facing us vis a vis the future of the nation.

Politically as the President's personal approval numbers are climbing, the Democrat-Left-Media complex is running on Stormy Daniels, "muh Koluzhnikovs!" and warmed over socialism/social justice that is turning more and more normal people off just six months out from the midterms. Keep plucking the chicken Kiev, Dems. Just to put the cherry on it (phrasing!), Nancy Palsi is refusing to call for Dem Rep Tony Cardenas to resign over child molestation allegations. Lastly, a message to John McStain: bitter, crass and foul is no way to shake this mortal coil. It really isn't.

In other news, some interesting links about the incredible 3.9% unemployment rate, the rumor mill surrounding Anthony Kennedy's retirement is ginning up, Gina Haspel almost threw in the towel rather than face grilling over waterboarding, and lastly California's anti-LGBT therapy law could result in the outlawing of Christianity. That state is a cancer; cure it or kill it.
