The Morning Report 3/28/18
Good morning kids. Midweek and a couple of stories are breaking. First, on the international front, Whoa,Fat! ventured out of the country for the first time in 11 years to Beijing, where it is being announced that he has evidently agreed to the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula. If he is to be taken at his word (and I would be very wary to say the least) it means his abandonment of his nuclear weapons program. Considering PDT's confrontational rhetoric since assuming office as well as his recent moves in replacing McMaster and Tillerson with Pompeo and Bolton, if this were to occur, on our terms and be verifiable, it is a huge win for the President and a major breakthrough, the Leftist-Agitprop-Media complex's lying notwithstanding.
The other big story comes from the immigration and amnesty front, where Orange County, California is going to join the Administration's lawsuit against its own state over its sanctuary city laws, which it is refusing to comply with. California seceding and officially becoming its own nation would be like officially recognizing Palestine. All you'd be doing is planting a sworn enemy right on your doorstep. I can just see Chi-Com, Russian and Iranian nuke plants, port facilities and missile batteries springing up right next to the Hollywood sign. Better to break its back by every legal means necessary, or call in the National Guard.
Continuing in this category, the Left is doing its Pris-shot-by-Deckard reaction to the administration's placing the citizenship question back in the US Census for 2020. Now, the Islamic terrorist front group CAIR calls the move "white supremacist" regardless of the fact that it has been on every census since 1965 with the exception of one: 2010. And we all know who was at the controls back then. By including that question, they know that illegal aliens will be significantly undercounted (I'm sure many will lie since a census taker is not going to arrest them on the spot if they answer honestly) and that leads to loss of both Federal money and more crucially Congressional seats and I believe electoral votes as well. Considering California has 55, it would take quite a bit for them to lose a significant number, and even the loss of one will send them to Big Chief Justice Punchy Macadamia Molokai Kahuna to stop it. Meh. Let California secede and give the 55 votes to Texas.
Now to guns, where the Democrats are freaking out about John Paul Stevens openly calling for the abolition of the Second Amendment. It doesn't play well in an election year so here's hoping he, Palsi and the Dipsomaniac Bollard take it on the campaign trail. Meanwhile, fresh off from the astroturf children's crusade, Al Sharptone's brother Flattone, has been arrested for shooting a man to death. If only Dick "Weed" Blumenthal and Debbie "Bukkake Creme Rinse" Wasserman-Schultz had their ammunition ban on the books, we could have averted the tragedy... of Al's brother looking like a hypocrite.
With the President's numbers bouncing back, and VP Pence hitting the road to stump for GOP candidates ahead of November, on the heels of he Chi-Coms backing down from the trade war threat, the administration has announced a winning trade deal with South Korea and domestic energy exports and production are at record levels. As things calm down in the wake of Friday's continuing resolution kerfuffle, although there is still an argument over whether this was a huge mistake for PDT or not, Obamacare continues to implode and there is a coming spike in premiums that is going to get ugly fast. And do read Molly McGaughey's warning about going into hospital with a DNR. In any case, as we all know, the lack of will to deal with this as it should have been dealt with (complete repeal) rests solely with the GOP. They are the enemy. Period, full stop.
Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.
