Spokesmoppets Gone Wild: David "Camera" Hogg Claims Marco Rubio's Cost-Per-Murder; The New Yorker Praises Emma Gonzelez as a New Joan of Arc

Oh, first of all, as some of you have pointed out (which I didn't hear until Charlie Brown's Implement sent me the tip): David "Camera" Hogg says he wasn't even at the school during the shooting, but "raced" there on his bike to get as much, get this, camera footage as possible when he heard about it on the news.

Update/Retraction: Hogg didn't say he wasn't at the school -- that was a conclusion I made when I heard him say he "raced to the school" on his bike. I didn't consider the possiblity that he had been at the school, then left the school, the raced back with his camera-- which is what reportedly happened, with Hogg re-arriving at the school at 6pm. I'll have a full post up today all about this retraction, but I wanted to note it here in the original post. All the post's further claims about Hogg's whereabouts during the shooting should be ignored/considered erroneous.

Back to the original (but retracted on this point) post:

I previously questioned where he was during the shooting, wondering how close to danger he'd actually been. I wondered this because, despite the media's flood-the-zone coverage, they'd entirely skipped the easy (and important) story about where the spokesmoppets were during the attack. Put up a map of the school, show the spokesmoppets' location compared to the killer's.

Easy content -- and yet they hadn't bothered.

Hmmm. Wonder why.

When the media refrains from running an easy, clickbait story, it's because they're deliberately hiding something from the reader.

Turns out, he wasn't there at all. He has as much moral authority to speak about this as anyone else who viewed it on TV.

Maybe that's why he feels no shame about treating this entirely as a partisan political campaign: no actual emotional skin in the game.

Here's a text report about his "incendiary" speech, which should be banned, because "incendiary" speech is Assault Speech:

Hogg, who became the de facto spokesman for the youth gun control movement after surviving the Valentine’s Day mass shooting in Parkland, Fla., accused Rubio of prioritizing campaign contributions over the lives of students.

"I'm going to start off by putting this price tag right here as a reminder for you guys to know how much Marco Rubio took for every student’s life in Florida," Hogg said before a crowd of tens of thousands gathered in front of the Capitol building.

"If you listen real close, you can hear the people in power shaking. They've gotten used to being protective of their position, choosing the safety of inaction. Inaction is no longer safe, and to that we say no more," he said.

I'm glad the GOP #SmartSet has decided that populism has no place in politics.

David Hogg's professional political handlers seem to disagree, but whatevs.

Several Parkland survivors attended the march wearing tags reading $1.05, a figure Parkland student Sarah Chadwick reached by dividing the National Rifle Association (NRA) contributions Rubio has received by the number of high school students enrolled in Florida. Hogg tied one of the orange tags to the microphone before beginning his speech.

"Is that all we’re worth to these politicians? A dollar-five? Would $17.85 be all it cost you that day, Mr. Rubio?" Chadwick asked in an interview with the New York Post, referencing the 17 students killed in the Parkland shooting.

While "Camera" Hogg serves as the movement's pint-sized William Wallace, the New Yorker has decided that Emma Gonzalez is its Joan of Arc:

Weird, I can't tell which side of this issue the neutral, objective, non-partisan media sits on.

Oh and this simp, "Money Market Ben," disputed that these spokemoppets were pushing a "gun ban."

Spoiler alert: they are.

Eh, he's a professional "journalist." He's way too busy to bother reading the first and second demand of a petition he's reporting on.

Someone call Fusion GPS to send him their version of what the spokesmoppets' demands are.

Oh, and here's a #HotTake from former TV clown Michael Ian Black:

Gun ownership is slavery. This would come as a surprise to Harriet Tubman and civil rights agitators.

Below: Embedded video of David "Camera" Hogg saying he "raced" to the school, on his bike, from his home three miles away.
