The Morning Report 2/7/18

butstill.jpg

Good morning kids. Middle of the week already, and as fast as the stock market took a dump, it bounced back almost as fast. I am no economics expert but from what I've been reading, we can still expect some volatility in the next few days so let's not panic. I have a few links with more in-depth analysis of the situation. In any case, with tax reform taking hold and jobs being added the fundamentals of our overall economy are making incredible gains. Rush had some interesting thoughts on this (not least of which his speculations that much of this volatility could have been manufactured as a way of slapping at PDT), mostly from a political perspective, insofar as the Democrat-Media complex were almost orgasmic with glee in reporting the bad news. That is illustrative of the Left; when America fails, they succeed. And they will always spin and lie about reality to make it seem that what is good is really bad and vice versa in order to con voters into going surrendering more of their freedom and wealth to enable insane, costly and deadly social engineering, chaos and societal dissolution. Karl Marx said something about "false consciousness" - that despite what you experience as positive in real life, vis a vis free market, Judeo-Christian, post-Enlightenment society, everything really is horrible and a lie, and by G-d, even if it doesn't really exist they're going to make you think it does, if it short-dicks every kulak in the gulag.

Moving along, in Insurrection news, wth the release of the Nunes memo and the impending release of Adam Schiff-for-Brains' "meme-oh" (redacted or not), revelations about the phony dossier seem to indicate and confirm that it was Hillary Clinton and her Renfield-esque droog Sidney Blumenthal who were behind its crafting to be used as the excuse to obtain the FISA warrant to spy on Donald Trump. The wider issue remains of the corruption of our law enforcement and national security agencies. We certainly need these institutions to keep us safe, but when their leadership and perhaps a not insignificant percentage of the bureaucrats an agents within are willfully abrogating their oaths and breaking the law to advance their own political agenda, then drastic steps have got to be taken. That means mass firings and restructuring. Unfortunately, Washington DC itself is so utterly corrupt and essentially a one-horse town from a political perspective, I don't see how we cut out the cancer while saving/restoring the patient.

On the immigration/DACA/Amnesty front, the President says in effect that he doesn't care if the government shuts down, as he's not giving an inch on his demands. Mitch McConnell shows his usual lack of a spine by saying hey, whatever bill gets 60 votes he's on board with. Meanwhile Paul Ryan seems to be standing with the conservatives in the House by telling the Senate that any bill it produces that does not have the Wall and border security is essentially a non-starter.

Illustrative of the real world consequences, as if we need to see any more, one illegal alien stabbed a man multiple times because he had the gall to tell him to stop peeing in public, another one breaks the record for deportations (how do you say "still, he persisted" in Peruvian?) and DHS Secretary Nielsen has some frightening statistics about terrorism and a non-existent border.

Back to the politics, I understand that there won't be a shutdown because a CR has passed that kicks the can down the road to the end of March. All that said, this crap has got to stop. Draining the swamp also means ending the madness that is borrowing trillions and mortgaging our future. And most of that money, if not all of it, is used to stifle freedom, promote socialism and ruin America. It really is way past time to deal with this $200+ trillion dollar beast before we pass the point of no return.

From hither and yon, a non-Hawaiian judge has slapped JMU with a huge fine it must give a male student who endured one of the college's feminist show trials, evidently there is still much unrest going on in Iran, the State Dept. is still a rogue, anti-American Joo-hating outfit, I'd like to say Hillary is making an ass of herself but sadly she has an audience for her drivel, Chris Matthews is still delusional, Sweden is gone as a nation and Tu-Ca has a sobering report about future tech from Google that has some frightening implications.

Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.
