The Morning Report 1/15/18
Good morning kids. Monday again, so let's get right into it. In the lead this morning is the the frightening false alarm issued by the state of Hawaii of an incoming ballistic missile attack. Naturally, the usual gaggle of scum and deviants on the left are casting the blame on President Trump when from all appearances a combination of incompetence and faulty or malfunctioning systems caused the alarm to sound. It does bring up the issue of preparedness, both in terms of the human element as well as critical systems. And in this day and age, especially now with Whoa, Fat! playing at Werner von Braun, we cannot afford to be in the dark. Sheesh.
Just on the side burner is the fallout from "Shit-hole" Gate, both in the distraction of whether or not the President said it or in terms of the truth about many of the nations of the world and what it means for the continued flooding of our nation with millions more of these people. First up, the absolutely execrable, detestable, morally bankrupt Senator from Illinois, Dick Durbin has gone so far off the deep end that he is claiming that the term "chain migration" is offensive and hurtful to black people because it reminds them of slavery, or something. The absolute outrageousness of this statement is so filled with ragestroke-inducing insanity and so unworthy of a response that it's breathtaking. Sadly, I think far too many people, black and white, have been so brainwashed by academia and the media for such a long time that they might actually swallow this bilge whole. And sadly, it comes on the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. whose message of content of character over color of skin now flies directly in the face of mainstream (if you can call it that) Leftist ideology of "diversity," "multiculturalism" and the demonization of the American ideal of a meritocracy that it's only a matter of time before he, too, is airbrushed out of history and all the streets named after him get the Confederate general and Columbus treatment. How's that for sick irony. You heard it hear first. Feh.
Moving right along, we have several salient links about the immigration issue, the status of DACA, the President's third travel ban as well as one that calls for the long overdue repeal of the law that put us in the position we're in now - the 1965 Teddy Kennedy sponsored Hart-Celler Act.
Lastly, a couple of pieces on the rising tide of political violence exclusively from the Left, I might add. After 100 days we still do not know what the motive was of the Mandalay Bay mass shooter and there is a disturbing piece about a member of what I can only describe as a communist terrorist organization out of St. Louis openly advocating on Twitter for the assassination of the President and other political leaders. Funny how the Twitter employees and owners didn't ban this one. Not really.
Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.
