Oh, No: NBC in "Crisis Mode" Over Megyn Kelly

"Megyn Moments" -- the gal sure does stir up drama wherever she goes!

A few points:

1. If it's now against the rules to feature an interview with odious conspiracist Alex Jones, then it is equally against the rules to feature interviews with Linda Sarsour or Barack Obama's ghostwriter and pal Bill Ayers.

2. Megyn Kelly's interview was not going to be a softball soft-focus piece -- she was, she says, trying to illuminate the "connections" between Trump and Alex Jones. Of course-- More Megyn Drama, More Megyn Hunting Her Bete Noire. Same reason she interviewed Putin of course-- yet the left didn't shriek about giving a "platform" to the man they say #HackedTheElection.

Because they thought it could damage Trump.

3. So this is another case of the left, and only the left, pushing the #NoPlatforming agenda, where some "controversial" people are absolutely banned from any public space. Meanwhile, they honor terrorists at the Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City, with NY City politicians cheering.

The left won't stop #NoPlatforming, so we must begin our own #NoPlatforming.

4. That said, to hell with MeAgain Kelly. She thought she would be accepted by the liberals; like Bret Stephens, she's finding that the liberals only cheered her when she was a sabouteur operating behind enemy lines. But they damn sure don't want Bret Stephens or MeAgain behind their own lines.

On Bret Stephens, by the way, the price for his acceptance into the Liberal Elite was to completely reverse his position on Climate Change, which he gladly did.

I don't suppose MeAgain Kelly will retain any of her vestigial slightly-right-of-center impulses -- to the extent they even exist -- for much longer. Give it a few months, and she'll be a Born Again convert to Progressivism too.

People's politics have a funny way of re-aligning themselves to their economic needs. Don't be surprised when various "conservative" bloggers defect and start pushing the David Brock line.

5. MeAgain's ratings are "plunging," which was predictable.

You know, Benedict Arnold expected to be treated like a hero by the British he gave West Point to. Instead, he lived miserably thereafter, shunned by the people he expected to embrace him.

No one ever really trusts a turncoat. Even the people the turncoat turns coat to be amongst.

The hell with MeAgain Kelly and her "Megyn Moments."

In five years she'll be hawking the Megyn Kelly Jewelry Extravaganza on QVC.
