#FakeNews? Bloggers Start Chattering About Wished-For Hot New Trend -- People Who Only Want to Have Sex with Comic Book Fans and People With Big, Bulging Vocabularies
It's not actually "fake news" except it is -- there's no way this "trend" is actually a trend.
Though they did start a Tinder-style sex app -- called "Sapio" -- for horny nerds to find other horny nerds and talk about Star Trek during sex.
Are you the smartest person in the bedroom? If so, you may be sapiosexual... According to Vice, sapiosexuals are indulging in the hot fetish of the moment: viewing intelligence as the topmost turn-on.
If you were truly a sapiosexual, wouldn't you want to be the second-smartest person in the bedroom? Or would you choose the George Costanza compromise -- seeking a partner who is almost, but not quite, as smart as you are?
The term, coined by a live-blogger who calls himself wolfieboy...
Notice he doesn't call himself "KneeDeepInMish."
...just might make it into the next edition of Merriam-Webster Dictionary. Regardless, it already qualifies as a descriptor on OkCupid and inspired a Tinder-esque dating app for smart people, called, appropriately enough, Sapio. The fact that the big complaint about Sapio is a lack of participants maybe reflects the selectivity of those who embrace this sexual preference....
They then quote some chick who says that if a man uses a word she's never heard of before, her sexual arousal goes up to "DefCon One." (Note she got this right -- DefCon One is the highest level of alert.)
So, those occasional vocabulary threads we've done here are also part of your GAINZZZ-building plan, Son.
