On the Run: Bomb Blows Up On Pathway of 5K Run for Marine and Sailor Charity; No Injuries

A pipe bomb. The bomb detonated before the race, thankfully.

Sounds a lot like the Boston Marathon bombing -- except specifically targeting those who support Marines and Navy sailors (and I'm sure a lot of sailors and Marines were in the race, of course).

But we've got them on the run.

A second bomb was discovered afterwards.

This article says three pipe bombs had been left in one garbage can.

An explosion at the Seaside Park Semper Five 5K Charity Run has put the community on lockdown, with a source telling PIX11 News that three pipe bombs were left in a garbage can that exploded, but only one went off.
Officers are checking other garbage cans in the area, and authorities are asking everyone in the area to stay inside their homes and away from the race area.
