Amy Schumer: Yes, I Have a Sex Tape, and No, I'm Not Worried About It Leaking
Jane D'oh asked for a fun thread to goof on celebrities, and Amy Schumer has delivered.
"Yes, I have a sex tape, and I'm kind of proud of it." -- Kim Kardashian, 2003
"Yes, I have a sex tape, and I'm kind of proud of it." -- Amy Schumer, inevitably, 2016
Whatever.
She loves the spotlight.
If only that love were reciprocated...
Okay, explain this to me: Every time I see Amy Schumer on a magazine cover, she's sexualized.
Amy Schumer Goes Glam and Sexy, gushes the Jezebel-like Marie Claire.
Tell me: When does she not do photo shoots which are intended to be "glam and sexy"?
This offends me as a feminist because: Why? Her job has little to do with being sexy. Why is every shot of her sexed up?
This also offends me as a non-feminist, because, look: Some people shouldn't be sexualized. Like, the Pope, and Amy Schumer, and the Orc with one arm from The Hobbit. They should just wear the normal clothes of their occupation.
The Orc with one arm from The Hobbit might want to look sexy in fencenet pantyhose but, you know, he's not the only one with a vote here.
It all reminds me of 30 Rock's Tribute to the Women of Comedy photo shoot: Pose with the rubber chicken. Now make it sexy.
