He says that now, now that he was caught on video doing the wave at a Cuban baseball game and doing the Tango while Brussels collected the body parts of its dead.

That is, is trying to pretend he was making a brave, ideologically-considered statement in carrying on like usual. He was never prouder, he claims, then seeing Bostonians shop post-terrorist attack.

He's trying to suggest you should be proud of him for carrying on likewise.

But back in 2008, Obama blasted Bush for not calling the nation to "service" after 9/11, instead just calling them to "shop."
