Sunday Night Gun Thread [Weirddave]

Gun of the Week

Defensive Gun Use of the Week

Who knows what this is?

Garland.jpg

That's a crime scene photo from the jihadi attack on Pam Geller this week. Notice the bottom left portion of the photo. All of those evidence flags are shell casings from the gun of the officer who punched two tickets to paradise for the terrorists. They clearly tell the tale of a man who, coming under fire from two assailants, draws his weapon and advances on the gunmen, firing as he moves. Balls of steel. There's a man who could meet Sargent-At-Arms Vickers for a drink, and all either of them would have to do is nod. "Yup".

Everytown: We'll Only Debate If Our Sparring Partners Agree With Us

Everytown is committed to an evidence-based approach. We speak with criminologists, legislators across the country and we welcome debate. In fact, we’re thrilled that there is an increased amount of research in this area, and an increased amount of conversation about what laws are effective to keeping guns out of the hands of felons and domestic abusers. So, when there’s a credible scientist — somebody who wants to have a real constructive conversation about this — we’re going to be there. But folks who seek to minimize the grave issue of gun violence in this country – or to draw attention away from the real issues to themselves – that’s not a conversation I think it’s productive to be a part of.

Cowards.

GOTW Answer

That's an M40. Built upon the Remington 700 frame, it's been the Marine Corps sniper rifle of choice since 1966.
