Media Now Itself Leading Outrage Mobs Against Individual Citizens
A random woman in Dallas expressed xer opinion that women did not have the hormonal stability to be president.
Which prompted a local Dallas news outfit to go after her, similar to how we saw news stations go after Memories Pizza.
We live in a period of fear, darkness, cruelty, and stupidity.
Andrew Stiles of the Free Beacon calls this a new low for journalism. This latest stupidity from angry, truculent left-wing morons with cameras has pretty much broken his spirit.
What is the point of journalism anymore? "Random person says something stupid online" is not even a "dog bites man" story. It's a "dog defecates in yard" story....
The story currently has more than 14,000 shares on Facebook. If this is a sign of things to come, the next 18 months are going to be even more excruciating than expected.
One can (somewhat) realistically extrapolate this to the point where Republican presidential candidates are being asked to respond to random commenters on their social media posts: "And now to you, Senator Cruz. Twitter user @h00j_d0ng1776, one of your followers, no less, writes: '#HillarySoOld she remembers when women couldn't vote. Those were the days.' Senator Cruz, do you think your opposition to female suffrage will hurt you in a general election?"
I used to enjoy documenting stupidity.
I don't enjoy it anymore.
Because Stupid isn't just winning; Stupid is trouncing the rest of the field.
Including even in the United States Armed Forces.
Meanwhile, even as they treat an individual voter opposed to Hillary Clinton like a rogue corporation in need of the Investigatory Journalist treatment, here's how they're actually treating the would-be president of the united states:
Joe the Plumber again. Don't vet the candidate, but vet the shit out of any individual citizen opposed to that candidate.
It really is depressing. I'm not joking around; our country's descent into a nastier, uglier version of Idiocracy is not reason to laugh. It's reason to tear hair from one's scalp.
Someone once jeered the billions used to build the Large Hadron Collider and other huge atom-smashers as the building of larger and larger machines to find smaller and smaller particles.
Our media is now using all of its might to exterminate individual American citizens.
And they'll clap themselves on the back for "Punching Up," as the idiot Doonesbury doodler advises.
Two light notes:
And this is a clever sequel, I think: Rocky will be returning. But not to fight; this time he'll return in the Mentor role, to train the son of his greatest rival: Apollo Creed's son, Adonis.
The film will be called "Creed."
Isn't that clever? A nice combination reversal and passing of the torch?
